Default [Q] Any way to disable/bypass exchange security in Mail app?

Hey guys,

I'm making the move over from an HTC One X. My Note II will be here on Tuesday, and I cannot wait! Trying to read through the rooting process and pick a Rom and all that Jazz while i'm waiting for it to arrive.

I think i've got most everything figured out and will be ready to try and root when it gets here. One thing that i've used on every phone since back in the HTC Inspire days, is a mod that will remove or bypass the exchange security in the stock email app. I've always been able to find a patch that will work on whatever Rom i may be using at the time.

Does anyone know if there is a mod out there that will do this on the Note II? I'll probably be using Clean Rom SE or Clean Rom ACE.

I've searched in each of the Note II forums, and have not found anything yet. Thanks for any help you guys can provide! Very excited to make this jump over here and look forward to becoming an active member in this community.

Thanks for the suggestion. I've actually tried that, purchased the full version... No luck with my company's email. Even talked with the dev and just couldn't get it to work. Touchdown will work, but i'm not a big fan of it, and prefer the stock integration.

This mod bypasses my companies security requirements. Its aosp but I prefer it. Extract the zip. Copy and paste both apks to system/app and change permissions. Be sure to delete your current email and exchange apks first or it won't work.

Thank you for the reply. I'll definitely give this a try. Will it still integrate and play nicely with the stock calendar? Like appointments and what not.
