What are the odds they make an 'International' version they way they did with the Gnex ? I really like they way my White Gnex gets all the attention also do u think its worth going from Gnex to NexG or wait for a software update? The specs alone (So far) are interesting but it looks like a cheaper build of a Gnex. Also it does kinda suck for Googles flagship device to come out and not surpass other phones that are already out. If Google starts to do the same bs apples doing Idk what I'd do.. from 4-4s-5 lil changes made. Now from Gnex-NexG its the same! Both phones even look alike! Come on Google.. I hope this is just a testing device and not the official device

8GB! I hope this is only for the prototype. If Google launch with an 8GB option with no expandable storage it will be way too small. They can shove the cloud up their ass.

I know there will be a 16GB model too, but they really need a 32GB option as well. Cloud storage is still in its infancy, and not everyone has access to LTE yet.

Google is trying to make an affordable phone hopefully the 8gb goes $349 and the 16gb goes for $400. That will force them to drop the galaxy nexus to $300.

I agree, but Google's flagship doesn't have to surpass other phones, it's just reference hardware.
I really hope that Sony comes through later on this year with an Android Nexus Device. I'm not liking this.

8 gb on a phone should be a crime ,16 GB should be the very minimum

16gb is a crime these days. 16gb was so last year. There was no 32gb international version.

I do not care about affordable. I want pure Google with 32gb. I weant to stop my own movies and 1gb games and music!'

Why does Google keep crippling the Nexus? Look at Apple, you can even buy 64gb! They are not scared of having the cloud and offering storage space!

If only game data could be stored in the cloud directly from google

The problem is I do not want to use the cloud. I want LOCAL storage. Google just hates giving local storage. I can live without SD Card. My 16gb device is full and I'm tired of having to change and move stuff all the time.

I know exactly how you feel and its not like ssd is sooo expensive and the price of ssd is going down everyday.

Quoted res is wrong. include notification and nav bars, and it's 1280 x 768.

Oh, and the square 320 PPI screen is probably wrong too. That's just the DPI setting for XHDPI screens

Does it have a notification light?

No notification light, no deal. Please add that feedback to your device experience for me, if you would please ;)

Look.. I don't want the NEXUS line of devices to be affordable, I want them to be the best android device on the market when they release! If that means its a $400-$700 device then so be it.. as long as its worth the amount I'm willing to spend. After watching the video of the Lg Optimus G I was excited and eager for Lg to make the next Nexus and as of now I'm disappointed. The only way this can be good if its one of the 3-4 different Nexus devices that are going to release then I can understand the lack of storage space build quality

I can't believe the silly negativity towards this device here and the various android blogs. The device shown is still a prototype, and as such, was not meant to be seen by the general public. Stop drawing conclusions and vilifying what will theoretically be the best android device out on pure specs alone. You do realize that this is the first time since the Nexus One that a nexus device has had absolutely top of the line specs running pure Android, right? Isn't that quintessentially what the nexus program is about? Quit whining about SD card slots when you know the exact reason Google is moving away from them since 2010, for god sakes. Need more storage? Go buy another android phone, there are some excellent choices like the Optimus G, the GSIII, RAZR HD Maxx, and the OneX+, all from different manufacturers who bring their own sensibilities. But, be prepared to pay upwards of $550 for them if you want it unlocked, unlike buying straight from Google. Seriously, how do you ignore the fact that it has a Quad Core S4 Pro (the fastest SoC currently made available to OEMs), 2GB of RAM, and a 4.7in IPS LCD (non-pentile) display? And if the Optimus G serves as inspiration, we will see a 2100mAh battery as well. At least wait till the official announcement before forming an opinion on something, and take everything you have seen so far with a grain of salt.
