1) correct flashing procedure,
2) effect of using different version combinations of radio, wimax, pri, nv and roms,
3) and what are NV and PRI anyway?
Thanks.

1) Download zip to SD, do a nand backup, reboot into recovery. Install zip from SD
2) should have no problems, test and check though and report back. if something is screwed up nand back
3) magic
My goodness Captain you've been busy. Any chance you've extracted the new kernel too? I've been trying to figure out how ... and I'm getting no where. Probably because I'm super sick and feel like passing out, but I'm bored at the same time. LOL
I don't think so, not yet. But then again, I haven't tried yet either. I don't really know how to do it, but if I have some time after shoveling the snow outside, I'll fire up Ubuntu and give it a shot. It's supposed to be pretty easy, using koush's AnyKernel.
Success!!That'd be awesome!, I am just interested if the battery life would *really* be any better.
Surprisingly, rope, the recent OTA included a new radio! It's the last one you will ever have on the evo 4g. It works fine.

If you wanna have it your way, yeah you gotta do it my way.
