[ROM] 4/22/12 *V2* ahmedfikry Focus rev1.3 Tango Unlocked / ALL Lang & US-en

Custom Rom for Samsung focus rev1.3

To summarize:
The available Tango roms (latest OS) for Focus 1.3 are available in English-UK language ONLY...so I had to reconstruct these roms, one for English-US & the other for ALL Languages ...
So, this is latest Tango OS built CLEAN rom ...and added Nokia ringtones & some additional themes...+ HTC dlls drivers


These roms are inspired/tweaked from the vt2912 and voluptuary ROMs & some packages from mirolg mi7ROM .. cooked with Brian's OSBuilder kitchen.

Finally good to see a SKINless ROM.. The beauty of Win 7 is its natural appeal, happy that you kept it without adding any skins.

yes...its cab updatable

future OS updates will be cooked as they come out..no worries if you don't get official updates, as they usually leak earlier anyway..then you will have the new OS build cooked earlier anyway...for the last year I haven't used any official roms/updates...
I dumped several roms out there & picked the best in each (credit & thanks goes to other chefs)....then got the best of each to build this one...
My goal is to have a fast, small sized, reliable, & very functional rom
as for future development, I will work on including more registry tweaks & useful packages...work in progess now, watch for future change log

as for wireless sync - video text - 3G settings ... these are KNOWN issues in ALL Tango roms
wireless sync: was working last in Mango .. will investigate to fix in Tango soon
video text: change video settings to low quality & you can attach up to 5 sec video...will also investigate how to change registry to allow longer videos
3G settings: no fix for now but data is working good so not really a critical issue
again all these are Tango issues not related to this rom...as I mentioned, i researched & collected the "best" of whats out there in my opinion

many many downloads & no posts = rom running smoothly
I have it on my phone & have no issues...but please if you face any problems or have suggestions (other than known all Tango roms' issues above), post them here

Hello

I used to cook (for other models) "Full" roms that have many apps..so once you reset you will have "out of the box" ready to use phone... but users kept disagreeing about what to keep & what to remove

So, now I usually cook "clean" roms...just with base M$ files & some tweaks (unlocks/registry/Drivers/xmls..etc)...
I try to NOT cook any apps as you can always install them later easily
this gives the flexibility to users to start from a "light" rom that uses the least space & functions smoothly & stay FAST...but install what each user likes later

Difference is just the added languages
To my knowledge these langs are not available in other Tango roms for focus 1.3...so I just wanted to cook and make available for users

I adjusted lock screen a bit (graphics) nothing crazy

No tweaks yet...busy weekend

No full Arabic support from M$ is available yet
Only for Facebook part, there is RTL support but not in browser
for arabic Keyboard...use Native keyboard 2.21 app
for Arabic browser..search for "arabic" in marketplace & use "المحور العربي "

not familiar with that issue
i tested now & everything is working fine here
I can go to "pictures" select a photo..pop the menu & click "share" ..& i see all the choices just fine
