Hello, i have a Onda V701 that uses a Amlogic AML8726-M procesor and i flashed a firmware for another version of the tablet. Now Home+power does not work. Even if i use the USB burning tool i can not flash another rom, also the sd card boot does not work.

What can i do to reflash another rom? I have opened the tablet and fount the JTAG connections on the tablet. i have not used JTAG and i do not know what to do.

please help.

what do you mean, home+power don't work? Maybe it's a matter of changing the keyconfig file...

Does this CM9 work on Amlogic MBX reference board f16ref?
1gb ram, 1ghz cortex a9...
See screenshot.
Will these work:
Wifi
Mouse (usb otg host)
Keyboard(usb otg host)
Usb flash drive(same)
Hdmi...?

Please reply because its stock firmware is just awful... :)

I have a onda v971t dual core 1.5ghz AML8726-MX

Hello My tablet uses AML8726-MX from amlogic, I was wondering if you know how can I port CNM10 and CWM recovery to work with this one, any help will be appreciated. Tablet has android 4.1.1. I'm looking to have android 4.2.2 or even 4.3 if possible.

Need CWM for Ferguson Regent TV8 (AML8726-MX tablet)

what is "hack"?

I think I can make CWM/CM9 for M3/MX devices regardless of kernel source availability. for me priority is quite low because I don't have M3/MX devices. I'm sure they are cheap, but my wallet already gone to hell ;)

I don't think M3 kernel (source) works on MX.

Hi, fun_,

I have tablet "Ferguson Regent TV8" with AMLOGIC AML8726-MX processor. I would need it to get CWM (of course NO ONE has this particular model did not address). Could You look at it, please?
Using Ameer's script ONLINE NANDROID 9.20 I succeeded in managing backups, original KERNEL / RECOVERY is available to me (all backup too, for CWM and TWRP).

Some info from orig. Recovery:

Hello Bob.

I made a tuto on my forum to unbrick CT amlogic with a SD.

Look at this (in french, sorry):

Prérequis:
- Votre tablette doit etre une CT704 V1 V2 ou V3, CT1002, ST1001
- Un PC sous Windows
- Une carte microSD de taille inférieure ou égale

CT1002 revival

- Wifi N work now  I don' know why..
- aml_autoscript work if you have installed 2.3.4 before but doesn't work if you have 4.03 (i think memory mapping is different between 2.3.4/4.0.3)
CT1002 is really the same as winaccord PTT-1026, wayteq X-TAB100, Digma IDX10 and Boulanger ST1001(16go).

Link to 2.3.4 v0.18 CT1002: ***
It's a stock rom
---
Link to ICS 4.0.3 v0.08 from wayteq (fixed by me): ***
It's a custom rom with gapps+root+fix audio noise on ac3 + azerty ext. keyboard (i'm french)
---
We have also CT704v1, it's a IDX7 clone but with a different wifi ship (no bt).
CM9 work on ct704v1 (idx7 h1106) but no wifi and no sound
Link to 2.2.1 stock rom: ***

---
I can see my french forum for ct1002/ct704 and st1001 here: ***

thanks for all

Hi everyone,

I (re)found my CT1002 tablet last week, it still works (ok, quite slowly for now...), but it is still Gingerbread on it.
I have already tested the ICS rom found in the forum that murigny64 gave in the quoted post, but the forum does not exist anymore...

Does someone still has the ICS rom for the CT1002, please???

Thanks a lot ^^

this is a work-in-progress development project for porting CyanogenMod 9 (ICS/4.0.4) and ClockworkMod Recovery 5 to Amlogic AML8726-M tablets.

this is not perfect at all. and I'm very busy. progress will be very very slow. I may not be able to answer your question/request. if you have some idea for improvement, please do it freely.

there is no support from any makers/vendors. you must agree all risks by installing non-supported files, it may brick your tablet, and you may lose official support/warranty.

    * YOU MUST READ CAREFULLY POST#1, #2, AND #3!
    * DO NOT USE IF YOUR TABLET IS NOT LISTED BELOW. IT WILL BRICK YOUR TABLET!

    1. download recovery.zip and unzip it
    2. put aml_autoscript and uImage_cwm on root of SD card
    3. insert SD card
    4. power on

you can flash uImage_cwm directly into recovery partition. then, you can boot recovery with VOL+ + POWER.
ClockworkMod Recovery 5 can't install official update.zip. if you want to reinstall official ROM, use uImage_recovery in official ROM.

    2. reboot recovery

    http://files.androtab.info/amlogic/cm9/20120429/
built from latest CM9 source. some proprietary files are replaced, no fix from me.
in general, it should work as same as previous one. please try and tell me if something is degraded.

    A907: kernel from A9-3G rom
CT704V1: accelerometer and wifi should work fine. hw accelerated video may not work
CT704V2/3: accelerometer should work but orientation may be wrong
iDx7/10: accelerometer orientation and ubifs/u-boot issue are not fixed

    uImage_cwm is renamed to uImage_recovery.
on CWM, "mount USB storage" now exports whole disk as same as Android. (it was single partition)

partition layout is not changed. if you want to install gapps, please check /system free space.

I want to add support for ubifs but it needs more time :(

20120314 is uploaded. my site & post#1-3 on here are also updated.
    test CM9/CWM5 for iRobot A907
    test CM9/CWM5 for WayteQ xPAD-70

    changes
    - in addition to SD card, internal NAND flash is also exported(can mount from PC) on UMS mode on CWM.
    - remove cpufreq tweaks. please set what you want by Settings -> Performance, SetCPU and/or other apps
    - use latest proprietary files from C91 ROM. some problem e.g. glitches on rotation, crash on Market/Play Store and YouTube app seem to be fixed.
    - internal NAND flash can be used as /sdcard by Settings -> Storage -> (menu)Storage configuration -> Use internal storage
    - fix/enable remote controller on NOVO8 Advanced
    2
    20111108 is uploaded.

add initial support for USB bluetooth and USB serial GPS dongle. it's unstable, just for further development. not for daily use.
USB dongles need to be inserted before power on. it will be dead after suspend/resume :(
for GPS, you may need to set tty name and serial port speed via following properties.
    Code:
    ro.kernel.android.gps=ttyUSB0
    gps.serial.speed=4800
ttyUSB0/4800bps are defaults. please make /data/local.prop with proper values.
for GPS, only your location is provided. satellite location and other detail info is not provided. (gps module from android-x86 project is better but not used at this time)

background blur effect is disabled on some pop up dialogs. it should be popped quickly.

I'm very sleeply so git repo will be pushed later...
