I'm now on board with 5.0.3. Waited for the major bugs to be worked out. So far so good. Now I need your awesome theme to finish the job. Like others, I'm quick to point out problems, but forget to point out success. Hence, you've never heard from me before, other than a thumbs up in the OP. Thanks in advance for your hard work.

I believe that development for this has stopped a long time ago. You could always just back up and flash and see what happens. CROMI is so stable that most releases now are app updates, should be fine, but back up and try. I know the darkhorse theme worked on 5.2.3 with no problem for me, basically the same theme with a few different colors and tweaks.

This definitely won't work. It is two major releases behind and the framework is not compatible.

You would know best :), i was just saying if they were impatient for an answer that you can always backup and flash and see what happens, thats what we have recovery for. I have a hard time remembering which themes are which because i tend to pull them apart and make my own hybrids from time to time. I start to think of a theme as images and whatnot instead of an actual flashable file for the ROM itself.

Yes it wouldn't be that hard to update this to the latest framework - just extremely time consuming as the hard work has already been done by timberwolf. A job for someone else to pick up maybe?

Thank you both of you guys,
I already tried to flash it last week, but it freezes in bootloop after the reboot :crying:
The Darkhorse is working fine, but I have some small issues with that. Maybe it is solved somehow in the darkhorse thread, but I do not have a time to check it now (some black unreadable boxes of option selections) ...
Blues & Jazz looks better from my point of view, so if someone will find some time for update, some beer is ready from me :D

The black on black is not just you. I have noticed in the 3 or 4 years that i have been themeing my own stuff that black or really dark buttons and menu/popup backgrounds rarely work perfect. Android on a vanilla level(base) is just not designed for it, the text is typically designed for lighter color backgrounds. If a dev builds a rom and themes it from scratch its perfect, but if not you almost always end up with somewhere the text is wrong. Just my opinion and experience.

Your statement is so very true. Being one that has done inverted themes you will always some problem here and there. Even if you get the device working and looking perfect. You will still have problems with apps that will a call the framework-res.apk for a background, expecting it to be white or black and then use their own color for text. There is nothing that be done about.

Sorry guys for my long disappearing act. But I have been very sick the past few months and just when I was getting better I got hit type A and H1N1 Flu virus at the same time... I hoping in the near future to get this theme updated to the latest rom. Till then, God Bless everyone

Sorry to hear. Thanks for the great theme. I really loved it! Can't wait for it to be updated! In the mean time take care of yourself!! Most important thing!

Awesome Theme, and a word of warning

I had this theme with my last install of Cromi-X and it is beautiful. Seriously, the nicest I have ever tried on any device.

When I upgraded to Cromi-X 5.3, I went ahead and tried to install it to see if it might work after making a nandroid, of course. Not only did it hang on reboot, it corrupted something preventing even my backup from working! It too would just sit there on the startup splash screen. I eventually had to go back to my old backup on an earlier Cromi-X and start all over again....and the same kernel would NOT WORK! I had to start over AGAIN, and pick a different kernel before I could get it to boot up in 5.3 and set everything up again. Took a lot of time and frustration that was self induced so I am just warning everyone not to even try loading this theme, unless it gets updated....which I sincerely hope that it does!

Hopefully I just spared someone what I went through :good: :D

This has been a Kila Public Service Announcement LOL!

Thanks you posting about the troubles with trying the theme on the new rom... Still trying to sell some property so I can move. It's keeping my world turned upside down so maybe some I can turn my attention back to this theme. Also I am getting pressure from my folk with the HTC Sprint One rom and theme together. So please so a small prayer that I can get the property sold and myself back to a normal and life!:banghead:

Rom: Cyanogen Nightlies 10.1 or CleanRom 3.4.4 - Depends on the mood :p .

Well I was expecting more feedback from the users of deodexed version. Guess that is not coming, so yes in the next few days.

Ok guys here you go with the themed updated with the latest files. Enjoy:victory:

Beta Version of Odex theme is now posted in OP. Consider this a beta until I get some feedback from the users.

I am going to post a picture of the number of downloads just on 3.2.1. Yet only 17 people took the time to hit the thanks button, folks, this only for 3.21 version. The numbers for prior versions were just as big. Also note the 81 downloads of 3.44 deodex version and no feedback. I understand once a rom/theme is posted not as a beta, little or no feedback is a good think. But showing your appreciation is very important to any developer/themer/modder. The point I am trying to make here is, would you after spending a great deal of your own personal time. Continue to support any project that you receive no personal gratification or monetary. It's not about the money for me but show of feedback and hitting the thanks to help me stay motivated. I have no use of odex version and only post it for you. The same holds true for the other support files, posted only for you to download. And considering the 25% who use the no SD notification mod, again why should I continue to support a non supported theme. This lack of support my users is not just isolated to me only. But can found throughout XDA as a whole. Over the years I have kept stats to the ratio of downloads vs # of thanks button hits. What was at one time a ratio of 1 to 100 will hit the thanks button. Now it's more like 1 in 500. Anyway, a long speech I didn't intend on giving. Please hit the thanks button and provide some feedback either + or -. :highfive:

Finally got dock 1% charge icons to work without f/c's of the Transformer.apk.
Updated semi-trans Gmail 4.3. Enjoy :D :highfive: :good:
