After personally voting The Absolution ROM for the best I have ever tried before.. I am already downloading here, and really looking forward to try Melchizedek out. Hope the Radio Matches for Central Europe correctly.. Let's see, I'll let You know how it worked out for me!!

That would be found in behavior under the apex settings.

I seem to be having some issues with the radio. Very low signal levels with gsm and wifi. What can I do against it?!
It could be your carrier if you have not had problems with this in the past. What has changed on your device? Did you change the RIL or Radio? Were you on a Sense based ROM before? More information would be helpful.
You can try a new radio, but that is the risky part of flashing an HTC device so do it at your own risk. Here is the radio thread for DHD http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=877295 I highly suggest you make sure you understand the process and the risks before flashing a new radio.
Added the free version of our favorite weather app to the OTA called BeWeather.

I have previously used a MIUI ROM for testing, but didn't touch the radio - had a great reception there. And never had issues. Since I have not been on a sense rom, there's no much of a reason to mess with the RIL, since that would only cut off my Radio in the end. That would make sense only on sense, I guess.
Currently I am using this radio as almost everyone in my region (Slovakia, Europe):
Any ideas? In the meantime I will roam around the city and observe the signal bars. But I can tell for sure, WiFi at my home had better reception in general and the AP hasn't switched locations, still in the same spot.

i have been waiting a vanilla ICS ROM from the Collective for a long time, been using Ascension until now, oh YES!!!
update: just tested the camera, stock camera works like a charm! i didn't expect it to work so darn well, but it does and shutter lag is minimum, i can take pics fast as hell. Panorama mode works perfectly also (another huge surprise) and i'm lovin' it! there is however some lag in the app drawer (widget section), and i didn't even use any animations, will try to find out whether there is something in the background running that is effecting it.

What I've noticed again, sorry it's my 1st ICS ROM so I might not be the 1st one, but I miss setting separate sound levels for notification and ringtone..
and as well the quick access to the (WiFi, GPS, BT, Data, Sync, etc.) menu, You could drag down from the top of the screen. Hiding that behind another menu is not much of an user friendly solution. Well it's ICS the new Android everybody wants..
To the signal reception issue I'm currently dealing with: I will try another ROM, just to see the difference and than I can tell more.

How To:
1. Back Up your Stuff.
2. Wipe Data/ Factory Reset
3. Wipe Cache and Dalvik Cache
4. Flash .zip in recovery
5. Allow full first boot, reboot
6. Sign in to Market to add account.
7. Open Redemption Tools from Settings Menu and make it your own.
8. Rate the thread and hit some "Thanks" buttons!

Sloth - Sleep = conservative 122/122 + Wake = ondemand 122/921

In the CPU Tab hit your Menu button and you will see CPU Tweak.
CPU Tweak is exactly that, it will allow you to fully customize your Sleep and Wake Governors and Clock Speeds.
*Warning* Do be careful with this as using incorrect settings may have ill effects.
Do not use these setting unless you know what you are doing.
Undervolting:
Lite Undervolt = -25mV
Standard Undervolt = -50mV
Aggressive Undervolt = -75mV
