I know there are some instructions on how to do a system dump in this very thread from when bulls1969 popped in but I can't find them.

Found it! This is what I was looking for. I have root. Does that change the process?

Sent from stock rooted 4.3 OTA
Sorry, but how did you root? These 4.3 threads are a mess and I can't find a root method.

Make sure all the Samsung \Verizon bloat is there and not frozen or deleted. It looks for those apps.

AH! Many were disabled. Okay, I'll give that a go if I give the update another go. Thanks!

None of the GPe or Nexus devices work on CDMA carriers. They're all listed on the Play Store and not one mentions a CDMA radio (Sprint or Verizon for example). GPe devices are all moving to KitKat 4.4.2 as of last week straight from Google. GPe = near stock android and if you look at any radio listing on the Play Store, they're all GSM radios and LTE is for AT&t/T-Mobile. Google isn't down with CDMA.

The developer edition of every device you named does not see updates from Google. There's nothing wrong with having a developer edition phone but its not the same as a Nexus like you infer.
The latest Nexus 5 does support CDMA, and is available for Sprint network.

I really hope you guys know the consequences of taking the official OTA of 4.3
Your bootloader will be upgraded to a Knox secured one and trying to downgrade it back to an insecure one will brick your phone. This secure boot loader means no custom kernel and no custom recovery until we find a way around it. Root is still possible, but that's it... Only root.
Just saying. If you guys want custom ROMs, its better to wait

You will get a Verizon version of 4.3 TW before the holidays whether it comes from Verizon or is leaked by Samsung. 4.2 was already being tested and there is no user difference between 4.2 and 4.3. All the changes are security changes. Samsung needs to sell that new smart watch. Without 4.3 it is a no go on S3, S4 and Note 2. As always do not take the OTA. This is Verizons chance to lock you down like they did the S4.
