My phone was shutting off periodically even though it said it was charged, and the battery life was already short, so I figured I'd replace the battery since that's worked in the past. The new battery came in today and it's been charging for awhile, but it just keeps flashing a dimmer than usual blue light. I put my old battery in just to make sure it wasn't the phone, and it turned right on. Should I just wait and see what happens or is the new battery just bad?
Sounds like a bad battery to me. If it's charged more than an hour and doesn't turn on, return it and try a different one.
