##4772579# = reset GPS

I was wondering if this would sort the GPS accuracy issue - but the code doesn't work for me.
Is it correct?

That's the menu of *#*#4636#*#*. Still gives you the basic cell info but nowhere near the info you get from a proper fieldtest menu. I think fieldtest is only for QC SOCs.

Agreed, that's what I get on 4636 too. The field test menu does not work on my UK HOX.

*#*#36666#*#* starts FlexNet Mode. Don't know what it is though. Got some more codes for it, but they won't work on my device.

*#*#7669633#*#*
*#*#361066#*#*
*#*#361166#*#*
*#*#362066#*#*
*#*#366633#*#*
*#*#368866#*#*
*#*#3688633#*#*

All are related to FlexNet Mode.

*#*#759#*#* Rlz Debug UI

What does that FlexNet do?

To everyone having trouble using the codes, I'm almost certain it isn't working for you because you're on a custom rom.

I could be wrong but sometimes devs remove such functions. I think the battery test was removed at one point in ARHD only to be put back in

i was on a custom ROM and I couldn't get anu of the GPS codes to work.

I then fully flashed back to stock using RUU 1.29.401.11

still - none of the GPS codes work.

The only GPS related one I can get to work is the aGPS test within the one of the other tests - but this is a data test and only runs with GPS turned off.

Do you know any other codes that work with European HOX for GPS??

HTC specific codes
  • *#*#4636#*#* = device information program (such as telephone, battery, wifi, ...) << all these generic system information tools in the market read the same data as this code/tool does - [working]
This is NOT a HTC specific code. It's a standard Android one.

HTC specific codes
  • *#*#0*#*#* = display test (?)
You're probably thinking of *#0*# which is a Samsung-specific screen test code.

you know a code to disable fast dormancy?
Not on the 1x. *#9900# does it on the GS2.

How to stop this FlexNet Mode? :)

you can select it in the task manager then kill it (it does show a colored icon when active on my phone in the notification)

I have confirmed I think that there's no field test in my HOX, using "logging test app" from the android market it allow to launch most hidden menu...
it also help locate the *# code...

I have a question:

I used the field test code, then I start the usage statistics and surprise: at people it says: 2 people and 101850 ms.
What is this??? Someone else has been used this phone before me (???), because I bought it from Orange Romania! Thank You.

People is the contacts app, not them number of people that owned the phone.

Do a reboot and the number will change.

    Thank you :)

There has been a lot of buzz about Samsung's problems with USSD Codes.
I always believed that HTC couldn't fall on the same issues and I recorded a video to prove that the HTC One X doesn't has that built-in Factory Reset USSD Code that appears in the list.

International version, official OTA ICS 4.0.4/Sense 4.1 Never modified.

(Still uploading though! Will be ready in less than an hour!)

We are protected from this issue OneX users =).

You should post the code to activate the self detonate feature.

    Too secret ;)
