[Q] adb working – but onle for a few seconds.
Hi, noob here. Please excuse if I accidentally do not follow board rules. I am a fairly seasoned Linux administrator but new to smartphone hacking.
I am struggling with a ZTE Open and B2G, Firefox OS. Somehow I managed to make the device do not accept the original firmware image, saying the verification fails.
I did load clockwork recovery onto it which let me disable the verification check. With the last flash, it's gone, and I'd have to flash it again (I suppose). The phone is rooted, su in place.
Problem: The adb shell is only available during the first seconds of boot, until the defect firmware loads. From there, I cannot do anything except power down or reboot.
I'm pondering, is it possible to somehow interrupt the start of the firmware so I can perform the flashing in adb shell?
Do I have other options?
Thanks for reading!
