When I open the hardware keyboard the screen splits in half, the touch is still in the old place, but it looks like it is the kernel, as it is also happening with aokp rom.

This is Bonds screenshot from the cm7 thread:

attachment.php

mine looks the same, just tried it with nAa normal and cm7mini and it does the same as with nAa ics and cm9mini, it didn't do it with zombipanic 1.63 and cyanocream sandwich.

have baseband m76xx....
unlocked bootloader
did factory reset/wipe and wipe dalvik cache before flashing
not overclocked at this stage (but shouldn't be a factor as it also happens with cm7)

edit: how can I edit this post to make the image a thumbnail?

Yes I saw the 'message' from matmutant , but frankly that was rude of him (that was not cool) - and it would have just been easier to just actually answer the question, than to find that picture, upload it, and insert it (and only that) as his response :mad: :eek:

I didn't mean to be rude.
I was friendly telling you not to ask ;)

we don't really plan things from one build to another
nAa works on improving existing features, and tries to implement all new coming CM9 features.
what is planned is anything coming from CM, and some other things

i'll obviously post some screen shots of visible improvements as soon as they are quite ready if nAa agrees to.

Have a nice day
I'm sorry you did not understand my post the way I "wrote" it :-S

I have to warn about Skype compatibility, it's still very slow and crashes the phone when using it (note that on stock 2.1 it worked normally).

Few more notes... After using 3.0.2, 3.0.1 was faster and more stable, yet all apps now seem to start even slow. I've overclocked it at 691 and it crashes. I've left it at 600 and it still crashes. You have to somehow manage stability of overclocking because I didn't experienced so many crashes since I've used MiniCM7, where I've got only like 1 crash per month, under 691.

Hi there!

First of all Congratulations For the wonderfull work! this rom is realy nice.

I only noticed 4 "important" bugs.

1: Battery Live is to short for me as i need to have data and wi-fi on!
2: The phone speaker for call is to low. Gives some dificulties to listen.
3: The Ring speaker is to loud. kind of messes up the sound.
4: In every reboot the processor clock always gets to 122mhz-600mhz.

At 19mhz-729mhz there is almoust no lag and it is quiet a pleasent experience!

Keep up the good work And Thank You!

I noticed this always happen the moment you changed your theme. In MiniCM9 theme there's no problem regarding 'Set on boot'. The same with lockscreen shortcuts, when you use a different theme and set lockscreen shortcut icons it suddenly force closed but setting lockscreen shortcut icons while on default theme(MiniCM9) there's no problem at all.

overheating...

guys i've tried 806mhz overclock and accidentaly set the option "set on boot". now, the phone crash every time i restart it because of 806mhz overclock. how can reset that setting? i've tried wipe dalvik cache but doesn't have worked...

LOL, sorry to reply to an old post that's already been answered but I thought I only just read it should let you know what I did once when I make this mistake too as it may make you laugh (although I may add that I was using my phone at 806mhz for a few days without problems and then I left it in the sun and it suddenly couldn't hack it).

I turned the phone off, took the cover and battery out, then put it in the fridge for an hour (don't worry a fridge is a drying environment, it didn't get wet). I turned on the very cold phone and it booted fine, then was able to get to the cm performance options to drop the clock speed.

HAHAHAHAHA! xD
Nice one.
But there is one more desperate way... CWM Recovery > Wipe data/Factory reset
But this is the last option.

lockscreen icons

I have a question,
for example i have whatsapp and google + shortcuts in the loockscreen and they work but the icons doesnt appear
when you say if i use system icons will be appear in lockscreen, it means that if i add the whatsapp icon to the system (icons, finding and adding by root explorer way) and i use it (in the app) the icon will appear in the lockscreen?
Thanks any way

There are 2 options when setting icons in lockscreen shortcuts, system icon and gallery. Using gallery should work when setting custom icons saved in sdcard.

Mine is running 844 like a pro. I'm so proud of it!

i'll make an FAQ entry about this :)

done :

____________________
12/ adding apps on lockscreen make them not appear (3.0.2+, all devices)
use custom icon instead of default app icon (choose between system or gallery)

anything to add change in FAQ?

If you want to set the default system icons which is the plain white once, set it while you're using the default theme(MiniCM9) because it tend to force close when you're using different theme ending up with no icon shortcut.

    Performance
    MiniCM9 along with the nAa-ics kernel, includes some interesting performance improvement points:
    • System -> Performance -> Processor -> CPU governor and frequency --> SmartassV2 is suggested. Overclocking can be set as higher as your device can take
    • System -> Performance -> Processor -> Undervolting --> Enable this to get better battery life
    • System -> Performance -> Memory management -> zRam (Compcache) --> By default this is set to 18% in order to provide more physical memory (RAM)
    • System -> Performance -> Kernel samepage merging -> Enable this to get smaller memory footprint due to memory sharing among apps (Note that this might increase battery consumption)
    85
    Components

    ### Built from sources
    * libaudio
    * libgralloc
    * hwcomposer
    * libsensors
    * liblight
    * fm Radio
    * camerahal
    * libcamera
    * bluetooth

    ### Done
    * Camcorder
    * HW Video encoder / decoder

    Hello pro community ;)

    MiniCM9-3.0.1 is released today for the x10mini pro.
    This is a team effort so you should be thanking everybody: Implementation-wise D_d is making the visuals and preparing the MiniCM9 theme that will be included in upcoming versions. Testing and support-wise matmutant is doing an excellent work. Specifically for the pro, many thanks to leajian and siddardha21 for their device-specific testing and suggestions.

    Note that CM9 is still very young and there are still a lot of bugs to be fixed and features to be implemented. Please only contribute positively to the discussion, try to find fixes / workarounds if you can and suggest them to the rest of the users. As always I'm open to patches and suggestions.

    Enjoy you camera with ICS :D
