Always try a new download even if you have a match sometimes it's not perfect.

I finally got the ROM to install and am playing with it after my initial problem of android.phone and Lightmanager crashing, black screen issues ...blah blah blah which you can read here.

This is what I believe to be the problem and I didn't mention it because I didn't think it was an issue (have you heard that before? LOL).
I didn't fully run the set up. I skipped passed the google account sign in and just skipped through. When I hit finish setup, it immediately crashed and then the problems started. When I evaluate a ROM I usually skip passed this step and manually do it later.
Once I set up my google account, it works fine.
One more thing. I am not used to aroma, so I will probably sound dumb. But it seems like it doesn't likes old data. In other words, it seems like I have to factory reset every time i want to change or add to the rom it goes back to the black screen rubbish. For example, I wanted to switch kernel and I went into aroma and selected only the kernel and I assumed that it would reinstall over the old kernal and keep the old datat (from same rom) in tact.
I rebooted and when I swiped passed the lockscreen to the homescreen, immediately the android.phone and LightManager crashes and I get black screen syndrome and the phone is useless.
I can see how aroma is cool, but I do miss the days when the dev put together his picks and settings and kernel in a zip and let the rom stand on its own...I digress sorry, just my two cents
I am not complaining I just want the dev to be aware. And I usually don't write long detailed posts, but since this ROM is new and has a lot of potential, I want to be as specific as possible.
Thanks for listening i promise not write such a long post in the future
