The camera app is not made by google with ldpi screen support, i.e. it has no ldpi resources.
This means that some of the components like the on screen snapshot button and the settings buttons don't show up at all. It's a minor bug but we want the camera experience to be as good as possible.
I agree with youi can see the on screen buttons with paul's camera app on my x10 mini!

The answer is in:
Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Mini > XPERIA X10 Mini Pro Android Development > [TUTORIAL] How to download and compile ICS from source topic...
yes ics have no ldpi resources but maybe paul made some modifications on xmls so it fits the x10 mini screen i will post a screenshot to see that the camera looks normal!
EDIT:
Here is the screenshot:
Couldn't we just use a 3rd party app instead of a stock one since. The only problem left is the stock ldpi pngs

i think nAa wont release a rough-n-ready work with an third party app. I think he only release an excelent work with working STOCK camera app, so be patient, and dont hurry he He will knows when its done.

I think using camera ics from market may solve the problem bcause it works on all devices
stop suggesting 3rd party market apps for MiniCM... that's never gonna happen...
nAa's ROMs are all known to be stock CM and will most likely stay that way

MiniCM9 theme, is the valid successor for MiniCM6 and MiniCM7 legacy.
It is designed as close as possible to the original specs of ICS, in order to be a lightweight, beautiful alternative to the stock theme. However it is tweaked in several parts of the UI, in order to fit better to x8's device's screen.
*3.0.2* 26-05-2012

-themed Apollo
