Dunno why people would use echo instead of
getprop / setprop
afacit that is the way you are supposed to do those things.
This is one of the best mod/tweak I tryed
If there was only a way of keeping upto 50fps and up and not drop its fps
Well since this thread is now kinda back alive, just a question.
Is there any point doing this to todays ROMS/KERNELS? or will it make no difference and simply make things worse.
We are probably better off without it, since we have those new adreno drivers and such.

i agree..in normal ICS roms or JB our phone has a great performance..if you go to GB roms..then with adrenobooster even better..mid high performance..better than xperia S in graphics.:good:
How well does this work

or:Hi,
I just saw this post in arc section: http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1508990
This explain how to unlock the fps limit in roms.
Here a how to:
In terminal:
Adb pull /system/build.prop
Then open build.prop with notepad++ and add this line in the button of the file:
debug.gr.swapinterval=0
Then save the file. (TIP: Make a Copy of the original build.prop file!)
And in ADB type:
Adb push build.prop /system/
And that is it!!
Please test it and report back!
adb remount
adb shell
echo "debug.gr.swapinterval=0" >> /system/build.prop
reboot
Yes that would work (don't forget to reboot after)Would it work to edit build.prop directly, with ES File manager Text editor ?
