Flashing Instruction (Please read, or you'll get some accident in flashing

):
- Main battery must above 80%
- Copy diskimg.nb0, EXTENDED.IMG, SDConfig.txt, config.txt, and "CABS" folder to your pda Storage Card using Card Reader/Mass Storage Mode
- (if you remove your card from PDA/using card reader) Inert your miniSD card
- Press Camera+Reset to enter bootloader
- Wait until finish
- Enjoy new ROM

DSUU

I assume adding the standard 12 byte header will work too ? What about Ext.Rom? Will the Ext.Rom from Helloworld1 work? Sorry I prefer flashing DSUU.

Searcher,

One word of advice, can you zip all required files in one zip file and upload to Rapidshare, Megaload etc etc. Reason being most of us will get a download free user limitation error from Rapidshare and we will not be able to continue until we come back later.........which is and will be frustrating.

Just my 2 cents worth....

... You can use ExtROM from helloworld1 WM6.1 Atom Release 1

My internet upload speed is very low, just 15Kbps

Reupload

Maybe someone will be kind enough after completely downloaded all the files, re-zip them into 1 file and reupload back for everyone to Rapidshare, Megaload etc etc.......?

I went as far as 5 files and got stopped as I have exceeded the download limits.....frustrating......

Hi everyone, as per vincentshjuan idea, what does it mean by 12 byte header? do we really need that or it should work without the 12 byte header?

I am going to use the extrom from helloworld1 6.1 release 1 and hopefully it works.

I got a dead atom after doing the upgrade. I used the extendedROM from helloworld1 6.1 release 1. The upgrade was not finish and the screen goes black and cant turn on or whatever. I have to remove battery, press hold pwr on and camera at the same time, put back the battery and got the mnl bootloader, run dsuu using my previous rom and was able to restore the atom.

Now i will try to use the extendedrom from a 6.5 os and see if it works.

anyone successfully upgrade the atom?

Tried extendedrom from Tab.Q_O2_XDA_ATOM_WWE.WM6.5_OEM_28Jan10 but still after the extract of the files it goes black screen and nothing happens. Looks like it won't work for me.

Searcher, you said from the first page to copy the extended.img to SD but your package doesn't contain the extended file. Where can i get that? do you think thats the reason why im failing because of extended file since i dont have that file that the one your using. please advise. thanks

Hi ryanlow, thanks for uploading the whole package. ive been trying to upload it but my uplink bandwidth sucks and keeps me resetting. so give up.

btw, did you ever manage to install the rom to your atom? hows the performance so far?
