I just flashed that one with "fastboot flash boot kernel.elf" and when I start the phone it vibrates so I press vol up, then the led goes pink and i press vol up several times again. The phone is still on, but the screen is just black. The led is yellow, orange or green. (Sorry, colorblind.)

Nothing else is happening.

as soon as it vibrates keep pressing it. Don't hold it down, just keep pressing it.

Are you sure you successfully unlocked your bootloader? Try running pccompanion and repairing your phone. If it lets you then you are still locked

EDIT

I am going out for a few hours now, back soon

Well, the problem is solved.

Last night I started on this and because it didn't work right away (Thanks for the explanation.) I stayed up until late trying to make it work again and I wasn't so clear anymore. At a certain point I tried to flash an original image back, but this was a different version, also not compatible with the kernels I tried today.

So once I figured that out I found the original image again and got the device to boot. I went into recovery, applied the zips and am setting up everything now.

Thanks for your help!

No problem! That's why I am here.

On that note, my T has gone back to the shop as I dropped it the other day and it landed flat on the screen which broke it. It still worked fine but its in for an insurance claim now. Be back in a week.
Gone back to my trusty X10 so I will be on that forum for a week whilst I find a decent rom for it.

Is there any reason why you quoted that random post of mine? And why repost your original post?
Anyway..

That sounds like a mesed up build.prop.

Please goto about phone in settings and tell me the last four entries there.

Also, if you can goto the system folder and post your build.prop here.

Finally, ate you sure you bought the TX and that you flashed a TX ftf?
What had you flashed/modified on the phone prior to using pccompanion?

That error sounds like a mix up between TX and T firmware, it happens on roms being flashed onto a TX that are mean for a T and vice versa
