Is there any way to apply the hardbutton delete without having to use the actual hard buttons? I replaced my LCD this weekend, and along the way, my button flex cable ripped. So, I'd like to apply that mod in the meantime, but from what I understand, I have to be able to boot up into clockwork. Is this correct, or is there another way to apply it? Thanks.

Here is a script, which moves dalvik-cache to sd-ext WITHOUT low sound bug.
This script doesn't do App2sd. It doesn't mount sd-ext. It only moves dalvik-cache. So,
1. Flash some App2sd script, Darktremor Apps2SD v2.7 beta4 for example.
2. Flash this script.
3. Wipe dalvik-cache through recovery.
And everything will work.

I have no data contract on cellular, so my only data connection is WIFI. I leave WIFI on all the time, and whether at home or outside of coverage, my standby current is in the 4-6ma range. This has been consistent through Typhoon, the AOSP version of ICS and the CM9 version.

Walt

Thanks Walt. I flashed back BCM4329_firmware_v4.218.248.23.zip and the 7mA standby is there again. I think all I needed was a restart like Traukoman said.

I use Battery Monitor Pro. BTW, i was monitoring Battery drain since flashing Dorimanx's kernel. First boot, it was drainig 50-60 mA. After second boot, drain was 2-5 with spikes between 15-109. I removed some widgets from desktop (seesmic and facebook), and now i have 2-4 with spikes of 7-8, idle of course. :). Very goooood! :D
Screen on, drain rises from 120-200, wich i think is normal.

Dear tytung,

I have problem with system Media Storage.

After i coppied more music files via USB mode under WM and continue start android in SD mode.

The Google Music say No Music, music empty. The Gallery say No Image.

I must clear data of Media Storage and restart, open Gallery to reload, cost many times - but not fully load.

Any one have the same ?

Thanks.

Hi,
i am using V1.2 now for some days and it's amazing.

When i am using the phone in my car connected via BT, i have to start the
audioplayer locally on the phone. There are no commands (from car to phone) possible.

Is there any AVRCP support for bluetooth now (and i have not recognized it) or planned in the future?

Thanks in advance

Same problem with the HD2, but works with Galaxy Nexus ICS. Actually i use the app "car mode".

What is your lcd density? Did you change it? it is a known bug that phone does not work for some densities.

And a little advice from my side: I understand that you don't like it that your phone does not work, but screaming won't help. the only thing it does is that people will ignore your post. And if it is so important that your phone works, why do you install a beta? I would advice you to install a stable gingerbread rom.

Hey Cerisal,
thanks for your answer.

I know but I was in a bad mood earlier ;)

What density does work? Because now it's set to automatically ;)

Now I'm getting the battery charge issue. My phone doesn't want to charge past 90% if I go into recovery and delete the battery info it will fully charge once then will hit the 90% ceiling again...

Interested wifi calling also.

I too had an outdated sim card as well. I took my HD2 to a T-Mobile store and said I have data issues with this old card and they simply gave me a new one, for free, no problems, give it a try;)

Also I remember Tytung had made a whole new thread just to get wifi calling on his other GB Rom. I suppose it's not so easy.

Just found this http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1435743

Try pulling battery for couple of seconds. It may help ;)

My phone almost melted!

I have v1.1 on, and today noticed that the battery was draining pretty quick with absolutely no usage. A few times during the day, I noticed the phone has auto rebooted, and was stuck on the boot animation, but everything was in slow motion.

I started to notice that the phone was also getting hot.

When I got home, I connected the phone to my HTC charger - after about half an hour I smelled something funny and then noticed my phone was extremely hot! Even the front/screen part!

Has anyone else experienced this?

First read the faqs. It is explained there.

I mean lcd density. I think I confused you and you mean brightness;). Because I do not know a way to set it to automatically. So did you change your build.prop? If not you should have 240 which work for me. I must add that i am still on 1.0 so i do not know if the problem persists in other version.

Another idea: Are you using any App2sd script?

You could also try a fix permission. This is my first try if an app keeps fc.

Greetings

I'm using 190 with no problem. You will only have problems downloading from the Market. I think there are free modded market versions around, but I'm using the one provided by LCD Density Modder Pro, it works really well.

Fortunately not, but my battery drains very quick! Last night when I was going to bed it was on 46%, 5 hours later on 0%... not so cool.
I have also noticed some random reboots in the past days.
I don't want to wait the melting, so now I'm trying 1.2... lets see if this draining is gone or not.

I don't mean to be a complete idiot, but can someone tell me the difference between this build and tytung's " (Android 4.0.3) (AOSP ICS ROM for HD2) NexusHD2-IceCreamSandwich Beta10" build?

They appear both visually the same...

I guess, which build should I be going with and why...
