I can not get SMS messages on LS. Using Hangouts. Both the one in the LS Gapps and the updated one. Hangouts is confirmed to be the default sms app and has confirmed my cell but no matter how many times I try I am not getting any SMS on the phone. I use 2 factor auth on most of my stuff via sms.

I wouldn't think that should be needed.. Just curious on what you are basing it being a GApp issue? On Offfical CM it is working just fine without the HTC GApps.
I have a problem when I call someone I can hear but the other person can't hear me
Edit: now someone call "me" and now everything went fine from there on , now if I call or recive a call no problems .

Just to be clear. Are you saying that running LS you are receiving SMS without trouble? I just want to make sure that is the case before trying your suggestions.
Ah ok. Then I will wait for someone using LS on the current build to state they actually have working SMS before making any changes. It wasn't working on a clean install with full wipe right out of the box for settings up my google account which has 2 factor authentication. No changes or customization. Switched over to verification via call and that worked fine. Upgraded to 5/7 build installed pending update from Play store and the like and still no SMS. So working on the assumption for now that it may just be broken until verified to be otherwise.
Will install LS build 0507 soon and I'll let you know how sms works.
Go into SMS\Settings\SMS Enabled\Default SMS app and choose Messaging. SMS works fine:

Having no issues with sms running a slightly newer 4/7 then the released one but there are no sms changes that would affect it.
Great thanks. I will redownload and reflash. Maybe something in my install corrupted that is only surfacing there so far. If I may ask, which GApps do you use? If that could possibly be a cause.

Is there a setting to turn on the "double tap to turn on" feature? It's one of my favorite things about this phone.
Stupid question, but I am not close to a 'puter...how do I turn off halo?

Click the button in the notification shade. The one next to the button that switches from notification shade to quick toggles.

Install Instructions:
1. Download ROM
2. Reboot into recovery
3. Please backup your ROM before you begin!
4. You need a full wipe* if coming from another ROM.
5. Flash the ROM
6. Flash 4.4 Gapps
7. Reboot
8. Let it sit a while.
*NOTE: You are more than welcome to dirty-flash (i.e. only wipe cache/dalvik cache) between each of our nightly builds. However, there are times when we push certain changes/updates that WILL cause errors (force closes, etc.) if you choose to dirty-wipe. In such cases, please DO NOT report bugs in this thread until/unless you have done a full wipe (/data and /system) and tried again. If there is any indication of a dirty-flash in your bug report, it will probably be ignored. See my signature for additional information.
