Hi i'll give you 4 steps to root your penta device.
Step 1. Download and install "android sdk tools" from this link http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html. Select "android sdk tools, android sdk platform tools, android 4.0.3 (even if youre on ics 4.0.4) and google usb driver" in the list. It will take a while to install.
Step 2. After that plug in your device and right-click on my computer/properties/device manager. Look for your penta tablet in the list and click update or install driver whatever; "browse my computer for driver software", "let me pick from a list of device drivers from my computer" then select "SAMSUNG android composite device interface".
Step 3. Download and install unlock root from this link http://www.unlockroot.com/ (Almost risk free app to root a phone or tablet)
Step 4. Plug in your tablet (with usb debugging enabled) click root and wait. The tablet will restart. If it does not, restart manually and you're done.
Don't forget to press thanks if this helped you. blesssssszia.

Caution: In my experience nothing has ever gone wrong with rooting. But there is always that slight chance something can mess up. Use caution and only do this if you want to. I am not responsible if anything happens to your tablet or phone (but I really don’t think anything will happen if you do everything right)
