Hey guys, I've upgraded from B8 to 06/03/13 nightly yesterday and as a result I have lost the developer options from the menu and there is also a significant battery drain. Could that be an effect of a dirty flash or I am just doing something wrong?

I'm having same problem but with dirty and now with clean flash
Well there's your problem...
Change DPI back to stock DPI. You shouldn't be mucking around with that anyway.
No, this is not the problem.. Doesn't work with stock DPI...

Guys, I absolutely love your sense of humour! Thanks :good:
what he told is serious. read OP, there's written same about how to get dev options
we're reviewing/testing SmartMax governor from MaxWenn's tree, seadersn was kind and submitted his patch for cm gerrit review. If everything goes right we will merge it, and you'll be able to use it when a nightly is built with it later.

Smartmax definitely should not be the default governor. I don't really see any point in adding it actually (echoing gorbi's point about as-close-to-stock-as-possible), since that's what custom kernels are for. Still, if people want it and if it doesn't trash anything, then I'm ok with it.

I know mate, I did tap it several times and now have the developer options displayed. I just laughed at the messages it gave me along the way!
"Now you are one step from being a developer..." LOL
Then revert your build.prop, that's where your problems stem from. In future, always try with a stock build.prop before posting here and that way we can make sure it's actually a build/ROM problem as opposed to a user problem.

Reverted but doesn't work too...

Do a clean install then. If it still don't work, revert back to stock and check. Still no joy at that point, send your device off for repair.
