why would you want tablet mode in stock rom? anyway, the way their bar is, it's an app... not even in systemui... so I doubt it's possible, if necessary, you can just go ahead and get on cm10.1, it's easy... now.

flashed and working like a champ.
i had to use a modified hulu apk as the one from the play store does not work, though there are volume issues with with the modified version. netflix does not appear to be working. and, prime instant videos are still accessible via the default browser.
both nook and kindle apps work perfectly. really happy with this. thanks so much for your work.

Quick question: I'm currently having a look at the contents of the rom, and it appears that a lot of useless apps (and probably libs, didn't have a look yet) are still in: why not getting rid of them? I'm referring to Phone.apk, VoiceDialer.apk, SoundRecorder.apk, TelephonyProvider.apk, etc.

Flashed a few hours ago, now, and the rom works like a charm. The "tablet ui" - and the possibility to chose between phone & tablet - is a nice feature among others...

IMPORTANT: WHEN COMING FROM STOCK AMAZON OS
-Make sure you wipe everything except your sdcard (media partition) while in TWRP before you flash anything!
-In TWRP go to WIPE and select both System AND Factory Reset
(Make sure you wipe both when coming from Stock or you will end up in a bootloop with the CM10.1 boot animation)

- Download the ROM and GApps.
- Boot into recovery
>Coming from Amazon Stock OS? Wipe everything (read above)
>Coming from another CM 10.1 install? No need to wipe, but you can to be safe.
- Select install and flash ROM and GApps
- (in TWRP after selecting the ROM, you can select "add zip" and then choose the GApps. It will flash them both for you at the same time)
- Reboot and Enjoy!
Bugs:
- -The initial portion of the bootanimation is stretched and 1/2 missing. This corrects itself fairly quickly.
- -The headphone MIC input is not functioning correctly yet. Work in progress.
- -Virtual keyboard input on Jellybean is terrible. Needs a protocol update or something. Fixing. For now use an alternate keyboard like Swype
