Flashing requires root. Root voids warranty, as does flashing custom ROMs/Firmware. If you wish to go back to stock to unvoid warranty, you can just Odin back because that wipes everything even internal storage (So backup everything to an SD card or computer first!).
So in a simple answer, yes. Rooting and Flashing Roms does void warranty.
