I can however still boot into recovery just not to the rom itself being that there is none. The mount option does not work as it will not come up visibly on the computer or under the hardware/device manager. So all in all i have no way to connect my kindle to install the stock rom back again. Please help as fast as possible. I have checked many other threads to no avail and this is were im at stuck with a dead kindle.
Go into mounts inside TWRP and mount sdcard. Once sdcard is mounted you will be able to see it on your computer when a USB cable is connected. Place a different rom onto the sdcard and unmount sdcard. Wipe data (factory reset) and wipe cache and dalvik cache. Go to install and install the new rom you placed onto the sdcard. You should be all set, it should boot now.
If it doesn't, you may be stuck in fastboot. To get out of fastboot, connect to the computer and run KFU and select number 1.
