KDZ upgrade error

I'm trying to flash my phone with KDZ but it hangs half way through and eventually pops up a box with "upgrade error WParam: 100 LParam: 500.

Phone is "bricked" but I can get it into emergency mode, If I try to start the phone it just freezes on the LG screen.

Anyone know why i'm getting this error and how I can fix it? It's driving me crazy.

Try again...dnt forget to disable lg modem before going further..and also dnt exit from the emergency screen..and dnt do any thing to your nv2 backup

unplug battery and wait for few minute
then plug it back and turn on again
should be work
if not use kdz update again
good luck :D

are you sure you have the right kdz file?
whats your phone model and can you post the link that you are using?

Thanks guys but it still wont work, it gets probably half way through and gets stuck on: Smart : wParam = 8, IParam = 0....it then seems to restart the phone and the lights on the home, back and search button flash 3 times and the phone gets stuck on the LG logo.

I've been trying to flash it all day with no luck so please help.

I still can't flash this with KDZ, would it be possible to flash it with ADB?

My computer can only detect the phone in emergency mode.

Please help me guys

Your phone is soft bricked. If you enter in emergency mode don't remove the battery at any cost or else you'll have a perfect, costliest brick in the world! If not try taking it LG service center ( if your phone is not under warranty, they won't charge much for a software issue, In India its around 150INR, 3$ approx)

i am using windows xp .. modem is disabled ..what should i do ..please help ..

Creating/posting in multiple threads won't get you the results you are looking for. Someone that is able to answer will answer in due time. Be patient ;)

I try to upgrade from lg software while upgrade almost 45℅ after my phone was automatically disconnected from the PC , mesg shows removed cable n battery try to reconnect the phone to PC I did same thing upgrade ing start but no phone shows with PC , even no starting phone also in emergency mode or recovery mode nothing , my phone was totally dead or brick I don't know please help someone what I do ?????
