The point is, why would any dev release something that will not let your transformer reboot properly? Pointless if you ask me. But for the people that want a f##k up recovery, be my guess.

Edit: but if the reboot loops have been fixed and addressed, then this version sound like a winner to me.

After you have flash a different recovery DO NOT use the Boot into system.<br />
Instead cold boot into the OS and use Terminal Emulator to type in the following command.<br />
<br />
Type : su (give permission if ask, choose YES). You should get a <b>#</b><br />
Type : echo boot | dd of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p3 bs=1 seek=0<br />
Type : exit<br />
Type : reboot<br />
<br />
Note: Hit "Enter" after each line
Woot! Thanks for this! Works like a charm!

I do not understand the "cold boot" portion of the fix.

I am currently using ClockworkMod v5.5.04 getting bootloops to recovery.

No matter what i do or flash or wipe gets me into the OS.

Should i adb those commands while in recovery?

Any help appreciated. Thank you!

Press Volume Down + Power until words appear at the top of the screen. Don't touch anything and it'll go to a boot menu.

Once you get into Android, do this:

Of course, I completely agree. It just unfortunately doesn't always work out that way ;).

Anyway, your latest version is working great. Thanks for this. I have been waiting for someone to port the touch recovery. Nice work :).

For those of you in recovery boot loops, if you can NVFlash, NVFlash the Team Rogue recovery here

http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1446019

If you can't NVFlash, well, I don't know what to tell you.

...and for any of you that are flashing your recoveries through ROM Manager, for god's sake uninstall ROM Manager. It's basically useless on the Transformer.

Not trying to get off topic here, just hoping to help people get things in order to flash this recovery. Because it's awesome :).

I installed the first version and from what I've tried I cannot install a different recovery using this or a kernel to switch from a broken rom I'm using. So when i try to install a new rom I can't boot it because it doesn't install the kernel. Anyone else had this issue? Any Ideas?

..................................

figured it out. Installed the new recovery. cold booted. entered the command into terminal. Allowed it to reboot normally.

    Go back a few posts.

    Type : su (give permission if ask, choose YES). You should get a #
    Type : echo boot | dd of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p3 bs=1 seek=0

    Type : reboot

    This didn't work for me so I took out the exit command and it worked perfectly.. basically this

    Weird huh? I tried your original instructions about 16 times the last three days and was frustrated.. tried it without and it worked the first time.

    Even weirder was I flashed gee one's stock rom and recovery and that worked but just boot looped Roach's CWM repack that came with the rom. I then did my method and viola.. All good.
