Looking for bg?

I'm looking for the two fantasy backgrounds used in the first post. The one with the scifi man standing sideways, and the astronaut!

If anyone can upload, it would be greatly apreciated!

Because I'm a new user I am unable to quote replies with images in them; however post number 181 is the one I am refering to. I tried flipping through several pages here for information on this with no luck. Could someone please point me in the direction of, where to find and how to apply images like the Market, Contacts, and Agenda use?

It's the stock News and Weather widget on every phone.

My question is which weather widget is this?

Ohhh okay. That makes more sense. So basically download an empty dock, but then download the text. How exactly would I go about putting the text in the dock? Like what program?

with launcher pro as your home replacement: go to menu/preference/appearance settings/dock background/ and pick none. then on the doc icons long press one at a time; a pop up window will show and then pick change icon, pick custom icons - that will take you to the gallery or photo screen then pick your icon depending on where you put it. or if you want to change that icon itself. long press it then pick "change short cut" a pop up window will show press "applications" then pick whichever app you want on that dock.

The weather icon in the OP of this thread, are they available anywhere? I haven't seen them before, wondering if they were custom. Thanks!

Which one? It's either weather bug or beautiful widgets. I know that BW is a paid app while WB has a free version and a paid one.. I think. you can download "barcode scanner" and scan the QR codes and it should bring you straight to the app in the market.

Hi is it possible that Battstatt on my Wildfire drains battery? After installing this widget my battery lost 30% during night :-(

One of the greatest strength of Android is user customization. This is what makes our favorite OS unique. No two homescreen are alike. Widgets, wallpapers, and icons, almost everything you see can be replaced, themed and modified. However, the number of themes and widget are many that it becomes daunting and a little bit intimidating. So without further ado, this thread will help you maximize your ability to theme and create your very own take on the Android experience. Enjoy!

Ever wonder how to make your Android home screen look like this?

This thread is dedicated to show you how widgets can help create a look to your homescreen. Keep in mind that some might not be free and some have been modded (transparency, color changes etc.) to look different from the original.

There are many icons lying around the internet. These are my favorite as they give the phone a minimalist look like so:

This is a beautiful battery widget, can you link me to it?

Here you are, someone answered this before...

No real "Guide" needed, download this font. http://img.dafont.com/dl/?f=barcode_font

unzip it to any directory on your SDcard (I used the MinimalisticTextPreferences directory that the program uses to store custom widgets you've made)

Long press screen, select "Widget">Minimalistic Text 4x2 (hor) or whatever size you want.

in Minimalistic Text options, to all the way down to Global Settings, scroll to "Font Folder" and select the directory on your SDCard that has the barcode font. press back to go back to the widget setup screen, in the 3 text fields at the top select "Font Family" and you should see Barcode font in the option. once you have it selected for all 3 text fields just make up what you want it to do, clock, battery, date, etc.

Apparently this clock is very appreciated, unfortunately it's no longer in the market and after a few requests here on xda, I'll just post it here, so that everybody is free to download this clock
