Default [Q] Media player and TCPMP stutter every 5 seconds...

Hi,
I have got a strange problem.
I am running Winmo 6.5 with an Energy ROM.
When i am using Media Player or TCPMP to play music in the background the playback interrupts itself every 5 seconds for about 100 mS and resumes... I had it on playing IP radio, but got it on playing MP3 as well.
Has someone experienced it as well?
What could have been the cause?
The cure?
Thank you.
Laszlo

have you activated the animated arrows on the lockscreen? Doing that causes music to stutter every few seconds when the screen is locked.

it can't be done within the rom, its not a setting,, if you had activated them, you'd know about it. (I'm not avoiding telling you, lol, its just a long process, and since it doesn't work properly that's why htc left it turned off.)

Anyhow I have just completely disabled the lockscreen in the B&B tweaks and it does not stutter any more.
Thank you!

disabling the lockscreen fixed the stutter every 5 seconds, I am happy with that now...
Insider knowlege is great.
However upon listening to IP radio, TCPMP stops playing after exactly 6 minutes every time...?
It should be related to somewhat disabling networking upon inactivity, but ... where?
Who knows?
Thank you

since my question didn't get an answer and after a lot of try an error I finally found what made my TCPMP stop after 6 minutes!

In Tools --> Advanced Config --> Data connection --> GPRS disconnect
one should change "Enable button and timer" to "Enable button".
Surprisingly this influences GPRS, but also UMTS and WiFi as well!
After that change no more stops after 6 minutes streaming.

Hope it could help someone else...

P.S: use with care in a metered data plan!

regards
