Change X5 settings for haptic feedback it will workIs anyone else not getting haptic feedback on the four bottom keys?
Is the B163 the only rom that can be used to flash successfully this rom?
I tried 2 times with B138(as mentioned on 1st post), and I have serious problems which never had, and I've flash a lot of different roms.
-Battery doesn' t charge, when rom runs I get a slow flashing red light from led and battery shows 0%(battery is 80% charged).
-Cannot connect with adb
-Phone doesn' t work at all. It fails to find networks, cannot have access to SIM card(I tried to input pin and always get error that is wrong)
-IMEI number doesn't appear, only a big "!"
-cannot mount sd card via usb
I flashed 3 times the stock rom before try this rom, wipe everything.
After faced these problems, flashed again stock B138, and all worked fine. Phone OK, IMEI OK, Battery charge OK.
I tried to reflash this rom but all above problems are still there.
EDIT:
I tried with franko kernel too(19November version which worked with all other roms I've tried), but the device stuck at huawei logo and after 2 minutes reboots.
I'm going back to 2.3...
OK problems I am getting:
- Everytime I restart it loads back up and asks me to move data to SD Card (twice).
- Apps I was running on 2.3 still showing up in Manage Applications but have a size of 0.0B.
Anyone have any ideas about how I can fix these two issues?
No matter how much I wipe the phone it doesn't seem to totally clean it.
Hi all,
I will wait for the .35 kernel to test this promising ROM, but regarding the wifi tethering problem (to me a very important feature), I would like to say that CM7 ROM works fine.
it's not possible to "copy" the CM7 kernel configuration to the MIUI? I remember that Franco .32 Kernel was working in both ROM's

Well this came as a surprise
Too bad it's just for .32 . Do you know if a .35 version is coming?
I wonder why you weren't permabanned because of your hostile attitude towards everyone elsetoo bad? maybe for you... Why use that ****ty .35? no people with brains uses it cause it's crap compared to older version.
Don't understand that:
- Mounts and Storage -> "mount /system"
- Mounts and Storage -> "format /system"
when installing at CWM 5.0.2.6
What should I do with that mouting?

so this will consume more battery power?
Also what is better in this rom compared to original MIUI. i don't see diference in screenshots.

Elixe X1 .35 kernel FIXED / 2012-03-19
http://www.mediafire.com/?csaqe2nqwa8g5gk
Changelog:
- Bootloop fixed
- Slow boot fixed
- Cosmetic details
- Improved audio
the point is to downgrade from 2.3 to 2.2.
Maybe this might help clearly.Just Terramino(rom complier)claims that 2.3 is like a poison ivy covers your device very tight;so repeat the loading 2.2 action 3 times for better clean.
Downgrade from 2.3.5 back to 2.2.2
1) Download U8800 V100R001C00B138SP04 (Overseas General) Android 2.2.2
2) Extract the "dload" folder and copy it (along with its contents) to the ROOT of the SD Card.
3) Turn on your U8800 while holding [VOL-] and [VOL+] and the Android 2.2.2 install should start.
4) Once finished you should be back to 2.2.2.
5) If you phone does not boot correctly power on phone while holding [VOL+] to boot into recovery and Reset to factory defaults.
6) Delete the "dload" folder from the SD Card.
Problem solved.
Currently booting 30 - 38 seconds.
Does this be enough?
I prepared a small patch file. May friends who want to install from the link below.
http://www.mediafire.com/?c9472wjul05vmb9 (Install on CWM)
Dalvik Cache cleaned and re-adjusted during installation. For this reason, the phone still will be slow during the initial boot. Shut down and restart the phone after first opening. Now you see the opening of the phone quickly, around 30-38 seconds.

Elite rom's alternative kernels:You may want to try for different purposes.
Franco Kernel: Last franco,(most know its fame)If you want high performance use with 3d drivers.
Suggested cpu:600-1024 smartassv2.(Tether doesn't work with Franco)
Stockwell Kernel(Elite comes with this): If you prefer tethering, then use this kernel.(native usb tethering works, wifi tethering may need an app like Barnacle). If you prefer 3d drivers, then use 368-1024 smartassv2.If you want longer battery choose 368-600 smartassv2.(It'll be still fast).During video recording, use 544-1024 conservative, after shoot return 368-1024 smartassv2.
Stockwell Kernel 2: A modified version of Stockwell kernel.Battery performance is better.Tether may not work,so test on your own phone if you need tethering.Suggested speed 368-1024 conservative. If you want more battery life, prefer 368-600 conservative(It'll be still fast).During video recording prefer 544-1024 conservative, after that you can return 368-1024 conservative.
Ps:Guys,in our forum all users are really happy with this Elite both with three kernels.Everybody is reporting really high battery performance.Don't hesitate to try which will be more suitable for you.
