about to try this rom. http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2451859 i will test a few roms tonight and tomorrow. Is there anything i need to change in the rom before i flash it?

well i just took the dive. Its flashing atm. It deleted the system perfectly and is flashing. It flashed perfectly... Edit nvm it said i have not authorized software on my phone. My backup was corrupt.

Did the same as you flashed on top of my stock rom and got that message but my backup was good and was able to restore shortly after.
Sorry about losing ur backup bro ill make sure I test more throughly next update. I just hadn't experienced issues so far.

I got the same message but I was able to restore back to stock. Is there anyway we can modify the rom for the system can accept it and not fight against it?

well i just got a rom to flash and boot. So we are making progress here. The problem lies in the boot.img which i believe is the kernel iirc its been a while lol. I removed it from the zip file and it flashed and booted the rom with no problems

Just got my own rom to boot as well.
Seems the boot.img is the issue...not giving up on fixing rom-slots though so we can always have the stock rom there in case of any issues!

exactly i tried to flash a kit kat rom and it failed lol. that wouldve saved me a little bit of time

i havnt ran into any problems with any roms under 4.4. Of course i only tried to flash 2 4.3 roms so far. One had aroma and didnt give me any problems. The other was just a text installer no problems either. I can start linking roms in this thread if you want.
How about we do this ill open a Development thread tomorrow and you get the post after the OP to link all working roms/how to fix roms to work for us so far...?
