Thank You for adding theme compatibility, otherwise i wouldn't have loved it so much! BTW your ROM is pretty stable for daily use, some lag at places...:D

How to know about the Gen2 thing and partition layouts.
I need to flash my friend's mobile who is living remotely. So I will send courier to him the DVD.

download the app ask mr pig fish from market and it will tell u if u are gen1 or 2

and for partition download free space from market and check system partition it should be 220mb.

and remember this rom is not meant for daily use

Have this rom installed for a day now. It looks great (it's miui) but not very smooth.
WiFi is a bit flaky (even with the patch) but besides that everything pretty much works.
Some of my apps don't work but that's because of compatibility issues with ICS.

So far no real complaints, just not that smooth :)

How about making a GB Miui? V4 is seemingly slower even with Huawei Ideos X5 than the old good GB version. :)

that would probably work yes, didn't give it much thought at the time :)

OT: are you going to keep developing this rom doc? If you can fix the Wifi issues and smooth it out a bit this is by far the nicest rom I have seen for the Blade.

Although a GB based MIUI would probably be better for the time being (i.e. until we get proper arm v6 support for ICS) :)

A GB based Miui rom is already there. Head out to modaco and download miui 2.3.7 by andalululu. I'm using it. Except for a few Chinese text here and there, its the best you get for the moment.

Yeah I found it, but it's not 100% working yet. In the mean time tilal has released an ICS MIUI build, still waiting for that to work actually lol.
I'm now using his cold fusion ICS rom and it is AWESOME :D

    MIUI v.4 2.2.24 for Blade by doc3000 (beta1)

Let me present you MIUI ROM made by me, allbest on Modaco, aka doc3000 on XDA and DOC2008 on 4pda.

Based on Burstlam's CM9-PRE-RC05.5-BLADE and MIUI 2.2.24 beta

Thanks to Burstlam for his ICS ROM and jahlovePL from XDA for help.

    What should work:

    - MIUI themes
    - Wired headset
    - Bluetooth and Wi-Fi
    - Music player (FLAC support added)
    - GPU acceleration
    - SD card
    - Google Sync
    - Gmail (partly)
    - Sound
    - Gallery
    - Maps (May not work)
    - Multi-touch
    - Market
    - Auto rotation
    - Superuser
    - Able Overclock
    - Telephone Fully works
    - GAPPS
    - USB storage mode (only via Dual Mount SD Widget - included in the ROM)
    - DSP manager
    - Default browser
    - Built-in file manager
    - Video (with MX video player app)
    - Camera (You can take pictures, but does not what you're doing!)

    What does not work:

    - YouTube (app)
    - Wi-Fi tethering / mobile hotspot
    - Auto brightness doesn't work properly. It's better to disable it.

    Issues:

    - orange help pop-up disables keyboard in text field

Solution: to make a missed call and tap notification in the expanded status bar - pop-up will no longer appear

    INSTALLATION:

    • You need at least 200mb system
    • Download the ROM
    • Copy the ZIP to Memory Card
    • Start CWM
    • Make a Full Wipe (data/factory reset, wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache, mount & storage > format /system)
    • Start the install
    • Boot into the ROM
    • Wait 2-3 minutes
    • Reboot
    • Enjoy!

    MIUI THEMES:

ATTENTION: Before using MIUI themes you should create data/system/theme folder with root explorer. The themes for old MIUI are not fully supported. Miui v4 won't theme settings and other system menus unless made for v4.

You can use downloaded on PC themes by copy MTZ files into MIUI/theme on your SD.

Cant wait for you to update the base rom to burstlams 5.6.1 with openGL :D

Unfortunately MIUI doesn't work on Burstlam's 5.6 and 5.6.1. These ROMs are different from others CM9 ROMs.

    1. Why says the market, I cannot install DB Navigator, Google Goggles and Öffi? I can live without Goggles but not without DB Navigator AND without Öffi. I need at least one of them.

I expect that these programs are not compatible with Android 4.0.3
