If you read the various forums, you'll see the strife (haha, your handle!) so many folks went through with that phone. The saving grace of that phone was that it was a nexus and supremely easy to flash, unlock, unroot, return to stock - and therefore, so many developers putting out stuff for it. Much easier than with the HTC. If that wasn't a Nexus phone, I don't think folks would have tolerated its faults nearly as much. I mean the phone literally would drop data connects during full bars, over and over again. People eventually settled on the fact that it was a bad first batch. But the phones produced later, still had horrid 3G-LTE hand-off issues and pathetic 4G reception. It was just a sh*t phone, sorry to all the fanatics.

Damn boy. That's sounds more like really bad luck. I've never heard of someone getting a phone replaced that often. I've had it three times due to not being happy with other phones or in this case needing to get cash. Never had those issues lol. It seems as though when it rains it pours.
