Anyone know how to fix the "Google play services is not supported on your device" issue?
It worked fine the first time I installed this rom, but it's not working now thanks in advance

Anyone else having this issue? I'm starting to have this happen frequently and its getting annoying to have to reboot constantly just to get my system sounds back... Especially because it usually takes a missed text for me to notice it....

---------- Post added at 07:58 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:23 PM ----------

I have a question... I was goign to revert to Clean ROM because my system sounds basically stopped working altogether onb this ROM and I need them for the week so I was going to back this up and come back to it next weekend...anyways whewn I tried to creat a backup i got a message that said "E: There is a file that is larger than 2GB in the '/data/bugreports' this file may not restore properly, E: There is a file that is larger than 2 GB in the 'data/system/wpa_supplicant' This file may not restore properly...

And then I got some backup archives 1 - 6 so im trying to figure out what this means.... any help would be appreciated...?

I'm not sure about your restore issue, but I figured out my system sound issue. I ended up switching music players and that seemed to fix that problem for me. Hope this helps.

Thanks for your input... What do you mean switch music players? I just installed and left it the way it was stock... What did you do?

I had been using "Now Playing" as my main music app, but I started using "Power amp". That seemed to cure my problem with losing my system sounds. I haven't had that problem since. It may not be the same for you, but I thought I'd throw my solution out there.

Hmm, I use the Google music... Maybe installing power amp does something that helps I'll try that when I flash back to it. I don't know if I'm going to go back.. It is an amazing ROM but sometimes I appreciate the little things... Like everything working all the time ha ha.

Does anyone else have issues with bluetooth and or know how to fix them?

Mine works but is very finicky. Sometimes it will detect devices and sometimes it won't, when it does connect it will take around 30 seconds to a minute to get connected and then it is fine. I can also never turn bluetooth off after having connected to a device, it will attempt to turn off, then the switch will automatically go back to on. Restarting is the only way to turn it off.

I did not install any different kernels FYI. Thanks!

I was just going to post this exact issue with the BT.

Only way I can get it to shut off is a reboot.

Peace

Is there anyway to screenshot other than long pressing the power key and touching screenshot?

Anyone else have the only 3g connects issue? Had this before only on this ROM. This time I couldn't connect to LTE no matter what. Had to get a new sim card.

Any fix yet for the calendar not syncing? .I never could get it to work...wish they would update this rom..it is nice..except for no face book syncing contacts and the calendar problem.

By "they" do you mean me? Lol.
Facebook sync is not an AOSP problem. It is a Facebook problem. Yes, it can be hacked in though. The image quality when hacked in is terrible though. Use friend caster if you need Facebook. Although I did add the hack in 421 builds.

Pull the calendar from my nexus builds if you want it to work. I never bothered to fix it since I fixed it in 4.2.1 builds. I am very close to having a 4.2.1 build ready to go.

A simple yes or no if you please.
Nitro...are you planning on keeping development for this rom on the sgs3 going?
    or no

    thanks

and for the love of God would someone point me in the direction of the correct/detailed way to install this calendar fix. thanks,
    this thread has become....not helpful

Yes development is still going for the S3. I had to start from scratch when 4.2 came out and is a long process. I have just started adding in hardware support for non nexus devices. Install older Google apps if you need the calendar to work again. Google broke calendar sync on the last two updates.

I am in the process of integrating the new blobs to work with aosp from the leak. Video and ril files are a big help from the leak.
