Could we get some more info about this ROM?

What are some of the features?
Why should we use it over the rest?

Thanks!

EDIT: WiFi doesn't work for me. It says "turning on" but nothing happens. Going back to CM.

Just google AOKP. Is very well known.

Sent from my mind to your screen.

I did a little research and all I could find was "barebones Android" (obvious paraphrase). That's it. That's all fine and dandy, but CM is barebones enough as it is, right? So why should we use this instead of CM?

(Note: I am NOT insulting the project or the author. I am simply curious.)

Just tested. Wifi is FINE.

SIGH. first result on Google.

Aokp.co

Read it.

Edit: to the OP- seems like this build is working fine. The only bug i can find is with screen rotation. Screen rotates fine but for just a second it looks kind of "squished" and upside down... Then quickly corrects itself. Not a big deal really but wanted to make you aware.

Yeah this was a little rushed after 3 days I was just about fed up with it, but I finally got it to boot (oddly enough it was wifi that wasnt working).

So task list, screen shot directory, and screen rotation thus far.

Although I do not have this device, I enjoy stopping in at my devices "cousins" thread to see what development is going on. Would it be possible for you to compile this for the Kindle Fire HD 7"? Thanks.

I can give it a shot...let me see what I can do, having issues with my own device right now. But I'll put it on the list of things to do :D

Yes it is...kind of. Welp new build up is stable nothing new to report. Looks like nothing major will happen until 4.4 is dropped. I just wish I had more time to look into the Kindle issues BlackBean worked so well (which was loosely based on AOKP). TeamBAKED doens't seem to be updating much either (still on 4.2.2) or else I would build that. Anyways weekly is up check the first page.

Thanks for visiting. :good:
