[Q] Xperia stuck at Sony Ericsson startup screen

Hi,

I have no idea what was done with phone before I got it but after turning on it's stuck at Sony Ericsson startup/logo screen. What's more after connecting to my PC Windows displays an "USB device not recognized" error. I am able to start the device in bootloder, but it displays:
KOVS110
SPL-0.72.0000
MicroP1-787
MicroP2-707
and I'm pretty sure it's not what stock bootloader should display. Of course I would like to bring this phone back to the functional stage or even stock if possible.

It turned out that this Windows error is a problem with my cable. But other problems still of course exist.

Dam. It's bad when a forum is dead due to age...

I'm thinking of getting a brand new in the box Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 for the fun of it...

Issue is I'm unable to find any links to download the latest Windows Mobile 6.5 custom rom. Due to age all links are down.

Also, most users no longer have the rom.

I too may wait many years before finding one!

Any ideas where I can find the latest working custom rom for the Xperia X1?
