[KANG][ROM] CM7.2 by Photon Dev team 4-23-2012

Well, here is my build based on Cybik's work and my LG optimus S builds (thekraven). I'll try to do weekly builds depending on what cm7 gets pushed and bugs that get fixed.

1-20-2012 build.

• 
  Latest CM7.2 sync as of 1/15
  Currently using Cybik's kernel and modules. Will update to Joker's in future builds.
  Shouldn't ask for a sliding keyboard, but test.
  T9 dialer
  Ringlock style option: holo and revamped
  ICS roboto font and clock font
  ICS transition animations
  Bootanimation changer
  Disable boot animation
  Swap volume keys by rotation.. set to 90* when in landscape
  silent volume key beeps
  Carrier label modding, choose custom text to change.
  
  Lots of theming mods by Jerryscript
  NOte: most will take effect after a reboot.
  NOte 2: for a semi transparent status bar, choose a color and make the alpha level about midway.
  Status bar color mods, transparency, alpha levels.
  Center clock options and colors, YOU must first change this to another color the first time, it's defaults to black.
  Notification backdrop modding. Still working out bugs from adopting from mdpi. But color changes and alpha work.

  *1-22-2012 build
  *fixes torch, tethering, auto brightness, network name, and camera button. Thanks Joker.
  * a few notes:
  * Remember to change the color of the clock to see it. It's defaulted to black.
  * Hint: if you don't like the full transparent bar, some app's top bar color will overtake the status bar icon colors, pick a color and move the alpha bar midway to keep some transparency. Black works well like that.
  * New CM T9 dialer . May make some themes incompatible with the new dialer, check with the themer. (Contacts.apk).
  * ADB over network. It is turned off by default and to turn on go to settings > applications > development: check "adb over network" . Then go to setting > wireless> wifi settings > click menu button then press "advanced". Take note of your IP address and open a command prompt on your computer. Enter inside the quotes "adb connect <phone Ip address>:5555" For example "adb connect 192.168.1.123:5555" then enter.

  Latest Cm sync
  ICS rotations and animations backported, official now ;D.
  lock screen alignment to the right
  Toggle flashlight works
  Wifi tweak, let me know if still disconnects. This tweak will get overwritten by a kernel flash.
  CM autobrightness custom levels fixed now
  Built with atrix Hdmi mirroring fixes. Untested as I don't have it.
  Built with atrix Dockaudio fixes. Untested as I don't have it.
  mute camera focus sound fixed.
  Camcorder icon added.
  It shouldn't ask for a keyboard on a fresh build, but let me know.

  To use sound, this routes all audio thru hdmi and takes a reboot to reset it.

  Added Jerryscript notification background changer
  Using Jokersax Sunfire parts for HDMI audio.. see settings/device settings
  Jokersax 1.3 kernel installed
  Trying a few wifi wpa supplicant/dhcpcd fixes to help with auto connecting, but if flash another kernel, you will lose those settings. Tips: Try lowering the wifi scan interval in the build.prop

  Bluetooth fixes from team-atrix, should use less power with bluetooth on.
  Jokersax fixes for mnt/sd-ext mounting
  Now when you change the text color for the clock, the battery text, signal text, and date change. Requires a reboot.
  Latest cm7.2 sync
  Fixes soft keypad from coming on when going from dialing a number to home screen, and back.
  I'll add more to this list when i wake.

• Build.prop: Default Network type = 7 default now for CDMA users. GSM users will need to set to 0
• Testing out jbruneaux bluetooth fixes.

• Bootanimation picker should be compatible with most filemanagers

Installation:

*ADDED NOTES : MUST be rooted, Unlocked bootloader, and Clockwordmod Recovery http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1218417
* Boot into CWM recovery
* For a fresh install, wipe data and cache, then in mounts format system.
* Flash my latest build, then flash gapps, reboot.
* skip activation if you get it asking for a sliding keyboard, then just sign in under market or settings > accounts.
* to get sdcard working, in settings > cm settings > application .. change to internal and choose install location. then reboot.
* To get the external Sdcard recognized in apps. See post http://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=22039591&postcount=318

* If coming from other CM7 builds.... I installed over Cybik's last build with a wiped cache and formatted system. And flashed gapps

Working:
Most everything, , hdmi mirroring
GPS
Calls work fine on Sprint.
MMS works fine on Sprint.
no webtop, fm only via spiritfm app
Test other networks, it should be the same as I used Cybik's Ril mods.


Known issues.
2-10 build j . Wifi holds onto the network fine, but when going out of range and switches 3g and connecting to another wifi connection it doesn't connect automatically. toggling airplane or wifi on/off reconnects. I'll keep working on the init.sunfire.rc

2-10 build g
bootanimation chooser broken, can preview but not choose. Forgot to compile it. copy to /system/app and set permissions for cmbootanimation.apk http://www.mediafire.com/?2ke1qbd37cw6khk
wifi disconnects on me, but could be my router. Airplane mode fixes it. I'll watch logs

1-30 build

Dial tone echoes, turn off audible touchtone sounds in Settings/sound.

1-26 build
ADB over wifi not working
ICS rotations seem a bit buggy and causes random adw fc when rotating the screen, there is a new commit today that might help.
Disable lockscreen in tablet tweaks causes fc. Did it work in previous builds?
Looks like hdmi mirroring is not working

1-22 build:
Mute camera focus sound.
No torch in the notification drop down,
wifi disconnects on it's own reported.
car dock not working, seems to be blur related, but will look at atrix fixes
flashing a kernel probably will break wireless adb , should be fixed in the next release.
CM autobrightness custom levels > edit other levels fc.


1-20 build.
Network unknown in pull down, I'll try to track that down.
Autobrightness, will fix in the next build.
Camera button not taking pics, for now map it to volume or power buttons in camera advanced settings
Tethering menu in settings missing.
Torch fc, will fix in next build.
ADB wireless not working yet, i need to add something to the init.sunfire.rc

It has all his tweaks for gsm. But i don't have any way to test it.

Thanks, I'll remember to fix the Torch. I see the commit that fixes it.
