Try external keyboard helper from playstore, it helped me with my bt-keyboard witch has an english (qwerty) layout but i needed a german (qwertz) layout. With the pro version u can link any key to the needed funtion or change the hole layout to the one u need.... maybe it can solve even ur problem....

Good morning everybody

I flashed modem and phone fix (that what was posted in this thread) for our tab last days and now i recognize a huge battery drain in flightmode. Is it just me or did anyone else see this too?
And if it's "normal" with that, can i get rid of phone function without flashing the hole system again?
I don't really need it i just flashed it becaue i thougt it's cool to have what others don't have ;)

I dont think it is the Modem u flashed. I think ist a bug since CM10.1 based on Android 4.2. I dont know if it fixed in the last time cause i dont own a GTab anymore, but with my last tests of CM10.1, was the same results. So i think its still a problem.

Thx for reply, but it happends first since i flashed modem, before that battery drain in flight mode wasn't that big... around 1% per hour now its about 15%...

I flashed that modern as well and I had left my tablet on and unplugged. Next I knew it was at 25% but that was after 1 day and 12 hours. It has been lasting way longer for me since I got rid of stock. So I'm not sure it's the modem

So i feelt before i flashed modem.... since then then it drains like hell...

V3.04 out now!

V3.04 is ready for download!
New version is finally up. Again I was struggling with changes on CyanogenMod (change of build process) and the switch to Android 4.2.2 R1. Main change in this ROM is the option to place the navigation bar left side, centered or right side. See screenshots below.

Correct!

It is not working when you have selected SETTINGS->SYSTEM->STATUSBAR->TABLETUI

The option to move the Navigation Bar to the left or right is only working when TabletUI is NOT selected.

I am not working on any extension of the TabletUI. It is not fully integrated into Android, just a quick patch to get the looks of Android 4.1. But several things are not working, like the quicksettings.

So because i don't realy need phone function i just wipe everything and flash the new version! ;)

But thx to those who tried to help, u all are nice guys

And Bee_gee u're one of the best developers for our Tab and ur attidute is really nice! Thx once again for ur great work!
If u need beta testers in future - i'm not afraid to do this for u!

I wonder if someone who ever experienced the easy use of TWRP wants ever to go back to CWM recovery? Unfortunately the TWRP is not available for my Samsung Note (N7000), and I really hate it when I have to reboot into recovery on my phone.

Browser unresponsive..

found new bug.,,"Browser"

when browsing site that have flash..e.g movie streaming,..browser will "hangs".. huhuhuhu i wish i could screenshot it...and post it here...;)
i cannot "end task" need to wait until pop up appear saying " the page has become unresponsive, do you want to close it"..

previously on V3.03..for sometime i can open and watch movie on these site...but last few day it start to happen..i though maybe there a conflict of an apps...so i try to re-flash to my previos ROM...all seem to working find...and today i saw that you have updated this ROM so i re-flash it back..and yet the "hangs" issue on the browser still there.

My flash Player version is : 11.1.115.47 - is my flash is not compatible?..

e.g site...i can visit the site, but when click a movie title..the search bar stuck then popup error came out.

i try Youtube via browser same issue.,but using Youtube apps working perfectly.

    This ROM is my first trial to build a Android 4.2.1 ROM for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1.
    It is based on CyanogenMod 10.1 but flavored with my small own changes as usual.
    GApps for JB 4.2 is included in the ROM.
    FLASH THIS ROM ON YOUR OWN RISK! YOUR WARRANTY WILL BE GONE AFTER YOU FLASHED THIS ROM.
    ONLY THE ROM FOR THE GALAXY TAB 10.1 3G (GT-P7500) IS TESTED BY ME. THE OTHER ROM VERSIONS ARE NOT TESTED.

    Please check the XDA discussion thread for CM10.1 for additional requirements to use this ROM. Check there if you come from a ICS ROM, as you will need a new bootloader.

    Reported bugs:
    Gmail crash after flashing the ROM:
    Update of Gmail from Google market should fix the problem.

    Tips:
    After flashing the tablet seems not to boot:
    Give it time. I mean a long time!!! It will boot. First time I flashed this ROM I thought it would not work, but it just takes a long time to boot. The bootanimation will be seen only short time, then the screen turns black. Just wait until the setup screen pops up. But it should take longer than 5 minutes. If the bootanimation is shown for a long time and the tablet does not boot, try
    1) reflash the ROM
    2) check that the zip file was not damaged during download (you can find the md5 checksums for all ROMs on my homepage)

    How to get Developer options in Settings:
    Click on Build number several times until it says that you are a developer

    How to enable MTP:
    Settings->Storage->Menu (3 dots top right)->USB computer connection->Tick Media device (MTP)

    Organisation SD-card:
    The original content of your SD-card is now in sdcard0/0
    This is related to users management and I cannot change it.

    LongPress on home button, then move finger up opens Quick Launch (CM10.1 feature):
    Access QuickLaunch when the navigation bar is not centered:
    First train your thumb to access the QuickLaunch panel with the navigation bar centered. Press the home button, then move your thumb up and the Quick Launch will appear. After you got used to it move your Navigation Bar to the left or right (whatever you prefer). Press the home button and move your finger up. Then press again just above the Samsung logo in the middle and the Quick Launch will appear. Still working on a better solution.

    Show Pie-chart control when in expanded desktop mode:
    First you have to setup the position of the pie-chart navigation in settings and activated the expanded desktop. After activating you move your finger slowly from the outside of the screen into the screen to activate the pie chart (works on all 4 sides). Just try it and be patient to get used to it!

    Building Android 4.3 ROMs for my Galaxy Tab 10.1, Galaxy Note (the first released one) and Galaxy S4 now. I am excited about the speed of the new Android on my devices, even on my old Galaxy Tab 10.1 the 4.3 version is running fast!
