WiFi Hotspot Problems

When I first installed this rom, I tested the WiFi Hotspot and it turned on successfully. I upgraded to 2.3 when it came out and just yesterday tried to turn on WiFi Hotspot again.... Just hangs at "Turning on WiFi Hotspot." Never actually turns on, but sucks the hell out of my battery. I did try restart... Twice. No go. Has anyone else had this issue? I'm about to install 2.4. Hopefully that will help. Bad install on 2.3 maybe? Could AT&T be blocking me? Would be surprised if that is it because I have not used it except once to test since I upgraded to this phone. Used it all the time successfully on my Captivate though.

Cause I haven't pushed anything to git yet.

Trying to get this dam popup confirmation removed from task manager.

I did a full wipe and it works, and she did an upgrade from 2.3 and it works as well.

tomorrow can you help me with task switcher mod... my method broke systemui and i cant compile framework on mac so i need someone to change a line on there for me

Two ways to fix one is uze wallbase for ur papers and in settings check do not use default cropper or if ur useing apex download nova quick set a wallpaper then switch back to apex and u can unistall nova and then from that point on all ur walls will not be zoomed

Please help me how to change wallpaper in clockscreen ... i already change wall screen paper but in the clock screen it got an different wallpaper ...
And i hope the next build can fix data connection have no disconnection ... i don't why data connection auto disconnected ...

I really love this rom

I am notbrunning this rom but for ur lockscreen wallpaper u should be able to change it from system settings under display try there no clue on ur data try changing ur apn settings there a thread here in this forum for the correct ones

Data is fine. To those experiencing data "issues," please describe in detail exactly what happens and when.

With light use and the Siyah 3.1 RC5 Kernel, I was getting 2+ days on a single charge, simply amazing.

I installed N.E.A.K this morning, charging up now, letting it settle and we'll see if it's comparable. I'll say this, the new Kernel is simply amazing. Significant improvement in benchmarks, and the phone just feels snappier.

Anyone try NEAK yet? I know Ktoon was using this as a base for testing.
Just wondering if its smoother since its way liter than Siyah.

Oh sorry, kinda forgot.

Yea I will get to that probably this week then...have to remove the video call references anyways and replace it with call recording.

Unless somethings changed dont you just hold the Volume down and pwr button together for a few seconds

Just look at the People app compared to our Contacts. The people app just looks so much better it's crazy that Samsumg opted to keep their old theme.

The People App and the Calendar App, are those ROM based (Samsung ICS based) or Launcher based? The advertised versions of these for ICS look so much better than the current Contacts and Calendar apps.

Are you talking about AOSP versions? If so bringing those to Samsung base is just too much of a headache.
Not everything works and too many complaints I have seen in other threads about them.

Best thing to do is either switch to CM9/AOKP or put a theme on this rom like Vert's ICS Domination.

Can't add Google Apps account

Running v2.4 and loving it but I'm having an issue adding my Google Apps account.

When I go in to Accounts and Settings -> Add Account -> Google -> Existing, I type in my Google Apps email address. When I type in my email address I get the red exclamation point saying I typed and invalid character, which would be the @ symbol.

Any of you guys seen this issue?

EDIT: I was able to add the account finally, appears to be some type of glitch with domains that have multiple periods in the domain name. Right before I would type each period I would touch the password box and then back to the username and continue typing. Bingo! Hopefully this helps someone having the same issue.

Been thinking about trying AOKP but like your PhoneBricker way to much to swap right now ..
