I only installed the xray aopk kernel without changing anything else just trying to use the old rom you provided (ICS.....) that might be the reason it wont boot...so i can try to install the aopk rom and then the Xray aopk kernel...of course you need to install all y progs and stuff too or try to put the backup on again....thx for the help gonna try it maybe....cause its alot of redoing everytime lol....might be worth it but it will go on forever like this....:)

seriously, no one succeed boot up AOKP rom using xray-aokp other than me? :eek:

I Just finished restoring my apps and backing up AOKP + xray-aokp....this is a completely clean insall of xray-aokp and AOKP...so no fxp or aire kernel. I did a quick check and seems like everything important is working....except zram...but I guess it just hasn't been ported to xray-aokp......yet?:p

I did flash xraySETUP.zip before booting into the ROM....

thanks mate for feedback.
didnt implement zram yet but will do after JJ released next phase of AOKP. w/out zram still i felt rom very fast. able to get free ram up until 230MB in one time (monitored in system panel apps).

    First Thing First: How To Install Custom Kernel
    1) You need to UNLOCK BOOTLOADER using one of these method. I'm NOT responsible of what you've decide. Please follow instruction carefully.
    -> S1tool
    -> Sony Mobile - Unlock Bootloader
    2) Get this awesome tool called Flashtool and install. Dont forget to install usb drivers from "Drivers" folder too.
    3) I assume you have download one of my kernel. Get into Fastboot mode. How? Do i have to repeat how? Press "Volume Up" while connecting your USB cable. you'll see Blue led.
    4) Click "Flash" button on Flashtool, then select Fastboot Mode.
    5) Choose "Select Kernel to Flash" and find your saved kernel. I'm not gonna find it for you.
    6) Once completed, reboot device into system
