MMS on HTC Sense Stock Issues

I am just wondering if anyone else is having issues with MMS through Hangouts on HTC stock Sense? It isn't that they do not send at all, they just take ridiculous amounts of time to do so. At first I thought perhaps it is just my data connection, as where I live has particularly spotty data, however all other data-using functions seems to function fine, so I am perplexed as to what could be causing this. Yes, I am S-Off'd and rooted, though I seriously doubt these are to blame (especially since my MMS issues were present prior to both of these. Thanks for any and all input.

Yeah of course. Here is the link (http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=2709328) however there doesn't seem to be a resolution at the moment. I have since switched back to the native messaging app and have had no issues.
