DUSK Skins for Swype v3.9.10.10

- Based on 3.9.10.10 Cab
- (W)VGA only at the moment
- just Portrait QWERTY
- let me know if it works on your devices; if it doesn't, let me know in which folder your Swype is installed (and mostly where the keyboards layout images are)

No need to go to ppc...z^^ those swype cabs can be found here in many XDA threads too (at least I found it on the Omnia2 section). Not sure if they are allowed or not here, but I've seen many ofthem (older versions too).

Please let me know if my skins are working properly, then I'll do gvga maybe.

Hi tacchan23,

i let you know that it is working .. only one word perfect. For my wife i have to change that to pink (brrrrr, iiiiPhone like). But that is for her needs only, thanks god. Really a very good peace of grafics work. You use photoshop? Which version?

ah, forgot to answer this... I use Gimp! very nice and free! (thanks to Vostradamus for suggesting it and teaching me some basics^^)

Yes, yes, GIMP is one of my tools (paint shop pro 9.1, Paint.NET, Gimp).
Now my eyes are blended, ahhh pink that's what's my wife is using now. Looks very good, but it is the color

hey dude thanks for posting...but did not work in my HTC HD2..and i dont know how un-installed it.! i cant find in remove program in my device. pls help me how to un-installed.thank you..

Some questions^^

Are u using Swype 2.0 maybe? (the one extracted from Omnia2) or the 3.9 extracted from the HD2?

Where is your Swype installed? I mean the actual folder containing many files and images.
Did u install the Skin cab to the same location as ur Swype folder?

The Skin cab can't be uninstalled becouse it overwrite the original keyboard files, so if u uninstall it you'd have a broken keyboard anyway.
If you want to remove it, u just need to delete the Swype folder which contains just my few images (couse if it's not working for u, I assume it was installed in an empty folder and not over the original Swype app folder)

I got many PMs from people having problems with the skin... but it's difficult to solve them if you don't at least tell me what's your phone, which cab u used to install Swype, if it was OEM on ur phone, etc.

So if you have any problems, please tell me:
- your phone
- how you installed Swype (cab, OEM)
- which version of Swype you have
- Swype installation folder (the folder which contains many image files, in case you find more than one Swype folder)

No go on my VZW i910. I think I'm running the O2 version: 3644:3645. I'll look for the 3.9 version.

FWIW, I've tried these versions, but they don't work well on my O1:

You tried it but it didn't work well on your i910? or you mean that my skin doesn't work along with that version?
