Hashcode's kernel has made this device much faster and much more capable than it was ever intended to be so it's not too hard to imagine, after the bugs are ironed out for the official full release, that it could be ported to the Kindle Fire rather easily and without too much of a drop in performance.

It will probably take time before that happens. Maybe a lot.

Another t thing is of this is a OS for Low-End Devices(-$200), then could this have some Enhancements, I mean the Kindle Fire came from a OS(v.2.3) that was for Low-End devices, so maybe it will run smoothly.

Firefox OS is being primarily developed for under developed countries and so for low end devices in mind (so I read). If this is true, I would imagine that it would be screaming fast on a Kindle Fire.

Wouldn't mind playing with it if someone could figure out how to make a ROM for it.

I'm up to see it on the Kindle also. I don't particularly care for the concept of web based apps but if they make stand alone HTML5 software w/o a data connection required, that'd be sweet.
