Call Virgin Mobile.. Even if you don't have insurance they give you a 1 year warranty on the phone. I don't have insurance and just had mine replaced a few weeks ago due to a bad button. Call them up and they will do some troubleshooting and when it doesn't work they'll ship you one out. I got mine next day not incuding weekend
I bought it off somebody on craigslist (they bought it new on black friday from target), so I don't know if this applies to me, but it's worth a shot.
