+1 on this. All the other modems above EL30 caused short battery life and overheating with data on. That's all fixed with FC19, plus my reception and 4G are better.

i recommend the samurai kernel... it has a pretty cool splash screen... other one would be nyan... but its screen is a little wel.. you ... know... .Samurai Kernel

do you know of any way that i could flash my own splash screen? i'm not very familiar with the epic. on my evo, creating and flashing splash screens is easy (just flash a PC36IMG from the bootloader). is there something similar for the epic?
No unfortunately you have to convert images to headers and recompile the kernel... sorry.

Ahem...well if there are things you don't like about a ROM or how it is handled...don't use it. Did you donate a ton of money to these developers? You know they do this out of the kindness of their heart, for free, and at the cost of their personal time. Do you know what it takes to put out a ROM and support it? Put out all the positive praise you want...please. The negative needs to be re-thought and re-presented in a constructive helpful way. Thank you for your cooperation. Friendly Neighborhood Moderator

As far as being supported by them, its not on my top priority.
Its supported by our EpicCM Team, and that's enough for me right now.
I like doing the builds in house. You gets get a dedicated dev to suggest fixes, changes, and features

As mentioned, its going through some proper channels.
There are some pieces of code I edit manually that enables ours and disables others.
I have to figure out a way to make both happy before we can be joyously supported.
Annnnddd further more. There are a few of you that appear to feel you are entitled to the work I do.
Maybe a reminder is needed... I don't get paid for this. This is not my job.
I have a life, which you are merely included in because you click the download button on the work I've shared.
You are not entitled to it, its a privilege.
If I had the choice to take that privilege away, some of you would no longer have it.
Be grateful for what life and people give to you, it all can be taken away.
