i have a rooted Verizon S4 and i installed safestrap but when i go to the recovery and do the slot 1 thing and wipe the phone the screen just lights off and back on does anyone know why? and it just goes back to my stock rom?

Safestrap has not been released by Hashcode for 4.4.2 on the Verizon phone because it doesn't allow for ROM slots.
You can use it in "unsafe" mode and flash into the stock slot, as long as you understand the risk.
you can not use rom slots with 3.72 safestrap for kitkat.....been said countless times
