Thanks, but I don't have Memory Freak as I'm on MIUI.And an alternative to what RaymondPJR said, if you have Memory Freak, you'll find a 'Drop Caches' button as well, w/c does the same thing. Though the app is no longer used for LMK in the current version, I believe the function to drop cache still works.
Thanks, but I don't have "/bolt_scripts in this patch: /sdcard/bolt_scripts/remount_{*}.When you open the bolt scripts using the script manager application, the first choice is 'drop'. That's the one you want to run periodically.

Pikachu. When uploading a big file to dropbox the file freezes or resets over and over again. Not sure if its related to thunderbolt but I thought I should mention it.

Thanks, but I don't have "/bolt_scripts in this patch: /sdcard/bolt_scripts/remount_{*}.
(Thunderbolt_1.8.0 is bundled in the MIUI_Mintberry_1.11.11).
Update v1.9.2. Tweaked the I/O queue tunables and read_ahead a bit. Also made the VM settings a bit less aggressive. It now feels a bit faster than v1.9.1.
Changelog:
11/14/2011 (1.9.2)
- Increased read_ahead_kb to 2048. Should increase reading disk speed.
- Increased nr_requests to 8192. Should increase smoothness a bit. Still an arbitrary value, so testing is needed.
- Reduced VM aggressiveness a bit. Should reduce microlags sometimes when cache is full.
I'll look into this
You should ask lippol94 to bundle the script
Thanks, but I don't have "/bolt_scripts in this patch: /sdcard/bolt_scripts/remount_{*}.

Pls. watch my init.d.
The battery increase is negligible. Oh, I forgot that I increased the garbage collecting interval also. This would reduce battery usage. Let me update that into the changelog.
Ok guys, I'm new here in ThunderBolt thread. As I can see this skcript (collection of scripts) bring a lot of performance. I've read a littlebit trought the thread, and I'm confused. When I install v1.9.2 on my I9000 as described in the initial post, what have I to do if I want to use the CPUfreq governers whitch are in this post from picathu described.

Can someone of you guys post a step by step instruction how to do this? I mean should I use skript manager for this or? Does this work with cf kernel?
Regards!
When i execute s98screenstate_scalin in Script manager (just to see the output) it ends with "242: syntax error: end of file unexpected (expecting "fi").
I tried this because, even when i uncomented smartassv2 it always show ondemand on voltage control.
Thanks
Yup, I commented it out actually. That's because you're on Talon, and the default is ondemand which sleeps well. Hence, no need to scale the governor.hi pika...weird, while using 1.9.1, I edited S98screenstate_scaling in init.d to use Smartassv2 for Awake and Sleep. Then after flashing v1.9.2, I rechecked the file and it had all governors commented out with #.
It should be bundled into /sdcard/bolt_scripts. Not the init.d.
It will only work with kernels that is compiled the smartassV2 module, like Semaphore and TalonDev which is the two that I know. There may be others. You edit the script in your computer and replace the script into CWM and flash it. You can edit the script in your phone too right from the init.d and save it, reboot.
I'm not getting the error. I do sanity checks for each of my script by running it with script manager actually. Did you copy the screenstate_scaling incorrectly (your /system partition is full, hence only part of the script is copied) or you edited the script incorrectly?
Yup, I commented it out actually. That's because you're on Talon, and the default is ondemand which sleeps well. Hence, no need to scale the governor.
You can just change your governor to whatever you like and it'll stick. This applies only for Talon.
I read the last few pages and I still didn't know if the laster version 1.9.2 is compatible with the latest CM nightly ???
ATTENTION: If you're on Fugumod build 1922, which came out Nov. 3, meaning also on CM nightly 168 and it's stuck at boot, boot to recovery, flash restore pack and remove screenstate_scaling before flashing again. I've troubleshoot it with lippol94 and found where the problem is. I've explained it in the post here: LINK
