Default my unrooted sleep of death/deep sleep fix

What I noticed when I put my device to sleep via power button or letting it timeout and going to sleep is that the power button seems to light up twice before totally going in to sod. My fix for this is that when you put it to sleep and wait for the first power button flash to go blank, manually wake it up with the power button and let it fall back asleep by itself. This ends the sod problems (at least for me but from what I read, everyone has their own weird fixes for this). Hopefully some people with this problem and on stock ics can try this and see if it works for them.

Edit: I found that you only need to do this once per startup as long as you don't use the power button to put it back to sleep. Always let it timeout. I know this crap sounds weird but I have exhausted almost every option and this seems to work for my tablet

On flexeeaper r1 v3 new Kern and v4 bootloader and have sod. Any combo of ics bootloader and new kernal give sod. Seen others with same problem. Little different hardware I guess. Ota stock did the same thing. One time civato had a combo that worked for me but that's now old.

Gave it a try, hit the sleep/power and waited for the light to come on. It came on and went back off but was now in sod. Tried all kinds of stuff. Thanks

Many times, erased and formated everything. Each different kernal gives a different sod time. 12 seconds and sod, different kernal 22 seconds till sod and another might take one hour or more. Also have the video problem.

On hc bootloader and ics no sod.

Default Try this out. Finally worked for me.

Are you flashing a new kernel separately after you flash a new rom? Try flashing ezterry's kernel separately through the recovery and see if that fixes the problem. I had SoD for months and tried everything out there but that. I am testing now, but I think it finally solved my problem. I am test with other roms to see if it works as well.

Here is ezterry's A500 kernel, http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1703590 and you can flash it just like a rom. Let us know if you have any luck
