Stock GB Status Bar

Hi Esa,

Loving your ROMs on my Hero but now I also need your theme for my Nexus S! I love all the HTC icons in settings, battery usage, transparent notifications...... But I believe that the status bar is a bit boring and also the HDPI icons in the status bar are not very good.

Could you include a version with stock GB status bar? (usb, alarms, battery,wifi,signal, changing to green when connected to google...)

I know you are really busy with developing a stable GB Hero rom as well (which I am using since 1.6) but this shouldn't be too difficult as you already have the icons.

PS: Would it work if you just removed the status bar icons from the theme? I mean, does the theme engine only change the icons that are included in the apk and leaves the rest as they are, or does the apk need to contain all the icons?

Edit: I tested the removing method by removing the wifi icons and it doesn't work, it just doesn't show a wifi icon!!! :D Plus the whole status bar is completely black in stock GB and IMO it looks better than HTC's slightly gray status bar.

Well I can build a version with stock GB statusbar (only icons+statusbar but transparent dropdown) and the rest remains as it is now, is it that you mean ?

Like its a small section of lighter grey then the rest and makes it out of place.

I have this too, how come this gets ignored throughout the thread?
It looks really weird, can this be fixed? The theme is perfect except for the bug mentioned above, hope you can do something about it!

Hi Ele,

Two things:

1. The HDPI camera shutter button is not aligned properly in the theme, see attached pics. :confused:

2. And as we said, only statusbar icons + statusbar = stock GB. Everything else, including transparent dropdown and your version of the notifications power widget (which is very sexy!!!

Can't wait for this version to be ready!!! It will be perfect. :D

I will also look at that little problem, I have unfortunately not a device with hdpi so it will be you to determine if it will be good. :)

Exactly like this!!!! :D

PS: I will try v4 now and I will tell you if the camera icons are ok.

Edit: Camera icons are fixed! :) Please upload the version in the pictures because it looks fantastic! :cool:

Hmm, I think I found a problem. The search button (hdpi) in some applications is black and doesn't look right. I checked and it is the same on both versions, v4 and GB.

    HTC.Elegance-CM7-Theme v4.5.1



    This is my first CM7 theme and it is a beta version, have used Androidian theme as a template.The sizes it supports are hdpi and mdpi, did not understand what job it was when I started, so unfortunately mdpi are a bit ahead hdpi but hope to the next version that should be fixed.


    Extract the zipfile and place the apkfile on your sd-card and install with a filemanager, or flash from boot manager
