Try a different launcher from the market for a start as the stock se launcher is (imo) far from sexy.
I'm using adw ex.
If you look through this thread most people will have said or be happy to tell you what widgets/themes they are using, best bet is to just copy what you see and like and as you get more confident you can change them to your on style and make up your own.
Just have some fun

Not at all! This is a screenshot of android assistant 'uso de la batería' battery use option. As you can see is not eating too much
The apps are:
-Bobclockd3
-System info widget
-Desktop visualizer (text made by me)
Launcher is ADW, and the theme is Crystal by D_d (dark_dog)

I have SE X10 Mini with MiniCM7. I'm trying Go Launcher EX and I found a very cool battery widget called Circle Battery Widget (Android Market Link: http://is.gd/sDQSB1).
And now i'm looking for clock widget...one step at time
Ill have to do some research into system info widget, mine seems to be different.

First screenshot:
This is Milocker with a modded version of Xperia LDPI theme.
Author is ra3al so all credits go to him (my modded .mtz is attached at the end of this post, in order to use it, place Xperia_Mod.mtz on /sdcard/MIUI/themes and set it on Milocker)

Icons are Droid HD by 7.7.7.7.7.7.7, applied through Desktop VisualizeR
Tip: in order to make the icons look so low in the screen, you must use a launcher with ability to hide dock (Like ADW EX).
Third screenshot:
Just ExtDateWidgetXL and SiMiClock widget, both in light grey.
Last Screenshot:
Miui Music v3 + Power Control widget with transparent background setting.

PS: The clock is a replicate from one I seen here from vanessaem, so all credits go to her.
The theme is just a quick mashup and its far from ready for daily use. If you want it, give me some days to fix it up
