Actually, a couple requires the modding the phone to get wireless charging. Sprint's (SPH-L900) requires it too.

This thread has a nice video to show the differences in phones where modding is needed: linkyi and one way to mod

Here is another mod method:

Does look like a hardest mod to complete, but getting the phone apart looks to be the most difficult part.

Everything works as it should with my i9505 jfltexx S4, even through solid SGP S4 Slim Armor View flipcase. Charger have a nice sound and visual indication.
With SGP flipcase I need a little bit strictly positioned phone, compared to the naked phone alone, but this is OK for me.

7-8 hours to full charge, but it works.

It is a 6000mAh power bank with qi

As u can see in the pics I can charge it with the included usb at 1000mA or I can use it as a qi charger for 460mA on the note 2
It will charge two devices at once if one is using qi and the other is using usb at the rates mentioned.

I got the QI charging mat and card from Kogan:

If it's not in the right spot, it won't charge, so I've gotten into the habit of putting it down as I'm getting ready for bed, then checking it to see if the charge is happening. If not, then I reposition. Mine will charge from flat to full in about 6hrs.

I'm gonna be doing this soon myself.. in a month or two. Less wear and tear on my usb port is always great even though I have a spare one.

It definitely works and you can easily find a charging receiver on eBay for sub 10 bucks and a charging plate for around 20 bucks.
Charging is slow but overnight doesn't bother me

This work great with ATT Note 2 not sure but think it is called an i317 ? I know it is not the international ver. I am using a Nokia wireless Qi charger got from ATT for $24.50 + tax . Works great, nokia builds stuff even if Microsoft now owns them !

have you checked that it actually charges with 1000mA with GCC???

Just wondering as i am struggling to get mine to charge over 466mA..

Charging pins

It's probably the circuitry around those charging pins that limit charging current to 466mA. I've also just bought one and waiting for it to arrive...
